Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Dolores Hidalgo

Beautiful, spacious with high ceilings + multiple places to gather within larger space; as much fresh air as you might want, or not. Rooftop patio has options for both shade and sun. View is terrific. Garden is lush. Big kitchen, fully equipped. Fresh flowers on dining room table. Beds are on firm side even with foam toppers. Close to plenty of restaurants, park, cultural options (we heard chamber work at nearby church; Luna Media at nearby restaurant; literary presentation at nearby hotel etc) Listen to Rosie: bring your comfortable shoes for walking. Getting home is uphill but it's definitely doable (healthy 60-somethings.) Yes - barking dogs in the neighborhood. It's SMA. Host provides white noise machine or bring your own! Two aspects we love the most: ground floor layout reminiscent of hacienda - rooms wrap around 3 sides of a courtyard. With the sliding roof, you can bring the outside into the courtyard. And most of all - we love Rosie and her team. Exceptional and gracious.

We stayed here last year and returned again this year. The house is very comfortable. Marta(housekeeper) is a gem and does a great job. Vani greats you at check in and is an excellent communicator. The house sits high above San Miguel and the covered terrace is expansive, cool and relaxing. Inside, the kitchen is well equipped for the chef and the living room is comfortable. The house is quiet away from the sounds of traffic, barking dogs & fireworks. Just outside the house are the steps that lead you to town. The bottom of the steps is a large park (Juarez) and the centro is just a short walk. We explored the city in the day and returned in a taxi(80 pesos) to the house in the evening where we enjoyed a good nights sleep. We stayed in May, the hottest month in San Miguel. The house is well ventilated, screen doors, windows & fans circulated the air and we were never hot. This is an excellent house and the owner truly cares for the comfort of their guest. Many thanks!

Nice house especially common area (living room and terrace)

We loved our stay at Aurelio's house. From the beginning, Aurelio was a very responsible and attentive host. The house is simply beautiful: everything was impeccably clean, and details like the floors, terraces and fountain make it truly special. We have a car but we don't use it at all, as the location is unbeatable: everything is within walking distance. The house is super central, which made it very comfortable to explore the area on foot every day. Don't miss the handicraft market, it's a local gem! Thank you Aurelio and Rafa for everything. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We used the pool just about every day. If you're looking for a quiet area of town, this is not it. The church bells start early! Explosive fireworks (assuming it's a Holy Week tradition, and not always present) were loud and even startling at times, but didn't go past 10 PM. If you're looking for a walkable area and a home that feels both historic and cozy, this is the perfect choice. Good restaurants were within walking distance, like Mestiza and Cafe Rama. El Manantial was perfect for tacos and margaritas! Loved the park and the plaza for local culture and the diverse bird population. We enjoyed Isabel's tortilla soup, but mostly ate out. I loved my mornings in the library. Loved City Market and wish we'd gone earlier in the week to stock up on more items for the week. If you are lucky enough to stay here, enjoy! SMA is a beautiful place, and it's the ideal spot from which to enjoy the lively city.

I just want to start off by saying Melissa did a wonderful job with communicating with me. Just felt like home and everything was very accessible and walking distance. Beautiful and delicious restaurant all around where we stay at. The Airbnb instructions were very clear and very helpful as well. Very safe place to stay at, my wife and I felt so comfortable and very satisfied with everything. I would definitely recommend anyone to come and stay with Melissa.

This apartment is truly outstanding-spotlessly clean, bright, spacious, and comfortable. The terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee, and the apartment comes equipped with everything you might need for a pleasant stay. Guests also have access to a heated communal pool, ideal for relaxing. The property is situated outside the city center, only a few minutes away by car, within a secure gated community that offers 24-hour security. The host was welcoming and always easy to communicate with, making the entire experience enjoyable.

I felt right at home, very well located to get to the center, the amenities of the place are very good, great showers, pool and gym, but the stay was incredible, and Carlos' attention, not to mention, it's a place that we would definitely return to 👏🏻

My first time In San Miguel de Allende was made even better with this beautiful home. I was traveling alone... but enjoyed having so much room. Beautiful courtyard sitting area, bright colorful kitchen, dining and sitting room... with all the comforts of home. There were breakfast treats waiting for me. Charming bedroom, bathroom... and even a full laundry room. Excellent wifi and tv service... although I stayed so busy in town (a short walk away) it wasn't much needed. The view from the rooftop patio is breathtaking. I drank my coffee up there several mornings... watching the hummingbirds buzz around. The hosts were so responsive and helpful. Can't wait to get back soon. Thank you Brigham and Lynn.

Osacr is an excellent host, the apartment has everything you need and is super clean. The pool was warm and very clean, my grandchildren enjoyed it a lot. Plus the transport to the incredible center... Everything was great, 100% recommended.

Our family really enjoyed our three-night stay. The location couldn't be better. It is close to the center of town, but off the main roads and very quiet. Note that this apartment is on the third floor, up two flights of stairs. But the patio seating is lovely, and a nice breeze can blow through the windows. We would stay here again.

Ines was a wonderful host. She always responded in a timely manner when I had questions. The airbnb was clean, and located minutes away from shopping and restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful experience in San Miguel.

I would stay there again, the next time I'll book more days, the town, Oscar's place and above all his incredible terrace, I definitely recommend it.

Thank you very much for everything! The place is beautiful, incredible service, super nice decoration, everything complete, better than at home!! The location is two blocks from the main square and everything is super clean. The creams, shampoo, etc, are super rich... The arrival was very easy, someone met us and everything was very good, we will definitely repeat and recommend the place. The only thing, which I know you will solve, is that our room was next to the elevator and at night it made a constant noise that was uncomfortable for sleeping. However, they agreed to review and resolve it.

Christina’s home was perfect for a trip to SMA. On top of it being a beautiful space she was very proactive in checking in and being available just in case something came up…. Which nothing came up as it was great! It’s a quick walk to the Mercado and the parroquia. It also was very private and quiet. The rooftop had the most amazing 360 view. Truly this spot is a gem.
