Spacious, Stylish House with Private Courtyard near Shops, Cafes, Beach and Tram

Start the day with an al fresco breakfast in the private courtyard garden or bring the outside in and open the French doors off the kitchen, lounge or bedroom. Unwind on the comfortable sofa and enjoy Netflix or take a stroll to the nearby cafes, park or beach. "Aviary Walk" is located in Middle Park, one of Melbourne's best inner Melbourne, bayside suburbs. Packed with inner charm this three bedroom Victorian house with a post war, mid 1940's facade was completely refurbished in January 2016. It has been stunningly transformed by one of Melbourne’s leading Interior Designers. With an eye for detail, every item has been hand selected to complement this stylish home. It has been furnished with a collection of striking mid century modern furniture, artworks and artifacts. Superb, soft ambient light fills this house. The 12 feet high ceilings are impressive and give a real sense of spaciousness. The one level, open floor plan contains a large queen bedroom with built in wardrobes. The second queen bedroom with a charming fireplace opens onto a sunny private courtyard as do the living and dining rooms. The flexible third bedroom with light court provides extra accommodation with its sofa bed and a study area with its stylish desk. The courtyard has a barbeque and outdoor table that is perfect for el fresco dining and entertaining. For luxurious comfort the entire home has ducted air-conditioned for cooling in Summer and heating in Winter. A large screen Smart TV with Netflix and home theatre sound system is provided. The house comes complete with a European laundry, free wi-fi, shed with bikes and Myki public transport cards. We have tried to think of every luxury to accommodate your needs. This is an amazing property with a special feel. It’s the sort of place that you won’t want to leave. THE LOCATION Open the front door and within meters you are having a delicious meal and coffee or wine at one of the many cafes on Armstrong St. Public transport, Albert Park with its stunning lake and the Middle Park beach and all less than two blocks away and all less than 4kms from the city! Being one of Melbourne’s most affluent suburbs, keep your eyes open as you’re likely to see some famous celebrity keeping a low profile. You get the whole house with its own entrance and all the space you need to enjoy on your own or entertain others. The house comfortably sleeps up to six in luxury with two queen bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the study for additional accommodation. Free parking is right outside the door in the street with a choice of convenient public transport only a block away. You'll enjoy your own self-contained house. We reside just around the corner so we're usually on hand to assist your stay in any way we can. We'll share our local favourites like the penguins at St.Kilda Pier, where to feast on the finest food, buy bargains at the local shops, partake in almost any sport you could imagine or watch a sunset over the nearby beach or lake. We love Melbourne and Middle Park and have been living in the area for over 20 years. We want to make your stay memorable and have prepared a folder titled "Adventures Middle Park" with maps and information on the immediate area and all the great things to do in Melbourne depending on your tastes. Being so well positioned bikes are available to enjoy Melbourne's nearby tourist attractions from the many dedicated bike paths. If beaches and the surf are your thing we can provide accommodation with ocean views at Torquay, the gateway to the Great Ocean Road or at Melbourne's millionaire beach side getaway at Portsea. One of the city's premier bayside suburbs is home to period architecture and quiet, tree-lined streets. Cafes and restaurants pepper the neighbourhood, and the famous penguins at St Kilda pier and the swans at Albert Park Lake are a short walk away. CARS AND PARKING For drivers you can park on the street all day as there are no parking restrictions and there is always a handy parking spot right out front of the apartment. TAXIS AND UBER. There are always plenty of taxis in the area. If you need one call 1300TAXI. We recommend an App called Uber where you can request a taxi ride and can be picked up minutes later by an independent driver with users paying in advance by credit card. You can even keep track of the approaching ride via live mapping. It's a great service if you are prepared to pay competitive prices up front and want to avoid the ring around, queues and waiting. TRAMS Less than 4 kilometers from the city, Middle Park is well served by Melbourne's premier tourist route the No. 96 Light Rail or the No. 12 Tram. Both are only a two minute walk away and depart roughly every ten minutes with St.Kilda only 5 minutes away and the city 20 minutes. BIKES There are lots of safe bike paths in the area to get to the many nearby tourist attractions. We provide free bikes, helmets and bike locks. The bikes are provided at the users risk. Bookings well in advance are strongly advised. Special needs will be catered for by request. Check in: 2:00pm or as arranged. Check out: 11:00am or as arranged. After checkout luggage can be left at my house which is just around the corner.

Built in the 1800’s, flat packed and then shipped over from England, this Cute little half house with verandah out the front and eclectic features is your little home away from home :) it is welcoming and close to EVERYTHING!
