Alkea Mountain Residence

The residence is built at the foot of the Xerobi of Central Evia. Xerovouni is an extension of Dirfi and despite its nameit is full of lush and dense vegetation. Pines, plane trees, and oak trees form the backdrop of the area and the view of the house. The property is located 50 meters outside of the picturesque village of Kambia which is built on the side of the stream. The house is ideal for those who love nature, the mountain and are looking for peace and relaxation.

There is a stone ground floor and a furnished residence of about 55 sq.m. with a large courtyard on two levels and a view of the fir trees. It consists of a hall, a bathroom, a living room with a kitchen and a marble fireplace and a bedroom, which has a double bed with anatomic mattress. In the living room there is a corner sofa that becomes a bed for two. It has a heater for heating in winter, while the house is very cool in summer.

Our house is 22 km away from the city of Chalkida, half an hour by car. Athens airport is 115 Km. away, one and a half hours by car. The beach of Politika is only 15 minutes away (11 km). You can buy your food and supplies at Psachna 10 minutes (6 km) from the house. A private pool is also available (minimum depth 1.2m maximum depth 2m). A car is necessary. Rematia - Kato Steni

Enjoy the simple things in this serene and central place to stay. Our apartment is located on the main road that crosses the village of Kato Steni. It is dressed externally in Dirfion stone,in the earthy colors of Dirfys and nature around. The back side of the apartments overlooks the ravine of Steni,filled with towering plane trees, walnut trees,pomegranates and cherry trees closer to the ravine.
