This was the residence of Thomas Davey who managed the Harrietville Gold Company till the great depression in the 20’s. The Hut is located a short drive from Swifts Creek on the Great Alpine Road, alongside the beautiful Tambo River. It is an authentic property restored in 2020 on Woodlands farm. The cattle farm itself spans 1,800 acres across the Tambo Valley. Our unique and remote location means that it's the perfect place to unwind, relax and recharge. We are located an hour from Dinner Plain & Mount Hotham as well as a stone’s throw from the Tambo River, Mitta Mitta and Cobungra Rivers.

This apartment is our winter home, we invite you to share it during the summer months. Perfect for couples or a small family to spend time biking or hiking the trails of Mt Hotham Alpine Resort and into the surrounding Alpine National Park, or just spending a cool summer break in the mountains.
