House holiday rentals in Dillard

Well, my husband and I have stayed there on and off for the last six months for local work, so we know the place well. Sadly, our project has come to an end, so our most recent stay will be our last for work. BUT, we love everything about Todd and Barbie and the house, and we will be back for fun hiking weekends. Hiking, waterfalls, everything nearby. It's the best place we've stayed in the area. Private, squeaky clean, big deck, large dining room table for big meals or spreading out the paperwork, GREAT internet connection and TV options. We'll definitely be back on our own - we feel so comfortable there in every way. I could not recommend any higher - would give it a "10" if I could. Todd and Barbie also bent over backwards to help us with a couple of last-minute schedule changes. Such honest and thoughtful hosts. Thanks Todd and Barbie for EVERYTHING over the last few months. We love you guys!

I couldn't be more pleased with my first AirBnB stay. The place was clean, inviting, and well-stocked. I wasn't expecting spices, dog toys, dog bowls, dog cot, etc. The fully fenced in yard, lake access, available kayaks, and privacy are the only things I wanted and this place sure supplied! the hot tub, outdoor shower, and firepit were huge bonuses. Also, met and talked with the neighbor who is super friendly 😉 I stayed alone the first half with my dogs and got my peace in. The second half a couple girl friends joined and we thoroughly enjoyed paddling out the this little island and throwing rocks, trying to fish, etc. Enjoying using the coloring supplies, games, and grill as well! It did storm most of the week, but even that was enjoyable! 10/10 experience for us all.

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Clayton, GA while in town for a wedding with another family. The house had everything we needed—super clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made meals easy, and the whole place had such a welcoming, cozy feel. The location was perfect—just a short walk into town, which is absolutely adorable. We happened to be there during a local festival, and it was such a treat to see the community in action. Lots of local pride and charm all around! The outdoor space was a huge bonus. The pool and hot tub were a hit with the kids, and the spacious yard gave them plenty of room to run around and play. It was a quick trip, so we didn’t get to explore as much of the area as we would’ve liked, but there’s clearly a lot to see and do. We’d definitely love to come back and stay longer! Highly recommend this home for anyone visiting the Clayton area—whether for a special event or just a relaxing getaway.

An excellent spot for enjoying the Nantahala National Forest, as well as having ample room and accomodations for guests and vehicles.

This is such an amazing place and yes it is real! Incredible views and wonderful stunning home in the mountains. It really was a memory I'll have forever. Matt was so awesome, he helped us get settled in and the amenities were so awesome🙏. Stay here and prepare to be pampered all the way up in the mountains! ❤️

Perfect location for our annual trout fishing trip.

We had an absolutely amazing time staying here, from the home itself to the outdoors surrounding it was exactly the peaceful, serene environment we were needing. The house literally had everything that we could’ve possibly needed cookware wise and even cleaning wise because although we were on vacation in a neat freak and with 2 boys the messes are sure to follow. Our host was so kind and responsive and gave us so many wonderful recommendations for things to do with our sons. We did not want to leave 💕 thank you so much for having us.

Kevin’s house is beautiful. Everything you could want in a mountain retreat. The location is peaceful and close enough to Clayton while still feeling far away. It’s a great place to relax. Kevin is an excellent host. Always responsive. His place should not be missed.

I loved my stay here. Tanea's home was really clean, spacious, and felt homey. It was peaceful and easy to relax. I loved being able to sit on the porch and have coffee in the mornings and look out on the mountains and watch the animals. Tanea made sure that I would be able to have a comfortable temperature when I arrived and that I would be able to view TV. I appreciated her kindness and thoughtfulness. Her home is a short drive to downtown which made it easy to shop, dine, and sight see, but also far enough away to be relaxing. If I am in the area again, I will most likely stay here again, if it is an option. In some ways, her place sets a new standard for me when I search for accommodations in other areas. Thank you for your hospitality.

The cabin was amazing! Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Nick was very helpful and provided lots of information on things to do in the area. He responded quickly. The cabin was the perfect place to relax. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to friends!

The view is even better than the pictures. We had 3 generations of our family with us and everyone loved it. The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed all of the amenities. Lots of space for family card games on the porch and family meals at the dining table. We will definitely be back.

This is the second time we've taken advantage of Ashley and her family's hospitality. We have 2 kids (5 and 7) and a dog. The house is PERFECT for those ages. The entire upstairs is full of books, toys, etc. Our 7-year old got a kick of the neon rainbow sign in her room haha. It was pretty chilly so we didn't spend a TON of time outside in the mornings and evenings, but the kids loved the swing set, and the fenced-in area for our dog gave him plenty of room to run around and be a dog. We absolutely love Clayton, too. Great restaurants/bars/kid-friendly places/shopping, all of it. We've even been scouting the area for property of our own. Thank you, Ashley, for a lovely cozy home, being an amazing communicator, and wonderful host. I'm sure we'll be back!

Great stay in Highlands! A few things to note - the mile drive after you get off the main road is gravel and there’s no service. There was also no Uber/Lyft but we were driving so no issues there. Just a couple things to plan for during your stay! Overall, amazing place, extremely clean, & great communication with host. Would 100% stay here again!

We had a great time and the house was perfect for us! I would stay at this home again, And recommend this home to my friends. The home was so convenient to town, yet you felt like you were out of town. We loved the restaurants in Clayton and also the surrounding area. My granddaughter zip lined in Highlands and tubed with her Dad in Helen. It is q quick trip to both places and many other fun things to do. You can’t go wrong staying in this home. June was fabulous to work with, and made sure we had what we needed.

♥"What a great find!" - what my wife said as soon as we arrived!♥ Mike and Amber didn't forget anything in renovating this wonderful, peaceful home! Minutes away from Franklin; short drives to Highlands, Dillsboro, etc. Hiking, waterfalls, good shopping and dining - or simply seclusion and relaxation if that's what you're looking for! From the outdoor shower to the peaceful rear deck to comfortable king bed and great kitchen and other amenities, this was the perfect getaway in a wonderfully bucolic setting that we and our rescue golden retriever, Buddy, enjoyed immensely! How impressed were we? - well, we've already started planning our return visit!☺

The house was absolutely perfect. We especially loved relaxing on the porch and gathering around the fire pit, but the sound of the river was truly the highlight. The home was beautiful, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Larry was wonderful, responsive and helpful anytime we had a question. One of the best places we’ve ever stayed. We’ll definitely be back.

Dj was responsive and the home was beautiful, large, clean, and had everything you could need. Towels were soft. Bathroom was clean. Beds were clean and bedrooms had fans (absolutely great) and an amazing location

This was by far our favorite AirBnB, ever! We would start again in a heart beat. Wonderful hosts with great communication! Even had an extra propane tank on hand which saved dinner on the first night! Loved the house so much, we actually cancelled our afternoon excursion just to stay in and enjoy games and a movie as a family. Great location! Beautiful views. Highly HIGHLY recommend this stay!

This house was just as described in the listing. So charming and peaceful!! It had beautiful views and it was so comfortable and felt like a home away from home. Alan was very responsive and helpful with any questions. Everything was well stocked and clean. The game room was a hit with the kids and kept them entertained for hours. Thank you for opening your wonderful cabin to our family.

First I'd like to mention Jack is very accommodating. A welcome basket with a nice assortment of goodies and cold water in the fridge was left for us. Thank you for that! The property is just Beautiful and the landscaping nicely taken care of. The backyard is very private, quiet, and so peaceful with the sound of the creek running in the back. The inside of the home was very roomy with plenty of seating and very clean. Everything you could need was available from kitchen items like foil, wax paper and spices. Extra towels, pillows, blankets, and toiletries. I have 12 grandchildren! Ten of them from ages 3yrs old to 24yrs visited me at this home and all had a Great time. Between the foosball, pool table, yard games, and the big yard for running around they all had a good time. Lots of games inside all so to keep them busy! Wish we had 2 more days just enjoy the firepit and the peaceful sound of the creek. Hope to be back and would love to stay here again! Lucy Dixon

A Slice of Heaven in the Mountains! We had the absolute pleasure of staying here and I can confidently say this was one of the most beautiful and peaceful getaways we've ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how stunning the home and property were. The house itself is impeccably maintained, warm, and welcoming—clearly cared for with love and attention to detail. Every space inside felt cozy and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout that made us feel right at home. But the view—wow. Pictures just don’t do it justice. Nestled in the rolling hills, the panoramic mountain vistas from the property are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the porch in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery is pure magic. It’s the kind of place that instantly makes you feel relaxed and recharged! 10/10 recommend staying here if you get the opportunity!
