I don’t have enough words to describe my experience at the Pipal Tree, It was exactly as shown in the pictures and worth every penny (which me and my sibling repeated 100 times) Our host Thapa Family were AMAZING. Very responsive, kind and friendly!! I’ve stayed at 100 airbnbs and this one checked all the boxes. I may have left but my heart remains there. Peaceful, beautiful views and the hospitality made this the best experience yet!! A HUGE shoutout to Anil dai for being so kind and sweet and always smiling!! I am definitely coming back❤️❤️❤️

Private room in Pokhara

We are Hong Kong tourists, coming to Nepal's Seoul Station is Kathmandu, come to Community Homestay in a crowded city and walk into paradise. The house is simple and comfortable, and open the door of the house is a patio-style corridor, leaning on the railing, and you can see the snowy mountains of Hao Bai!Eat early on the next floor, watch the snowy mountains eat, and the swallows fly through the geometry of life. The master family treated us like family, making dinner with us, harvesting tender leaves to feed the cattle and sheep, put on ethnic costumes to take photos, let us experience the local life. Walk up to the rooftop at night, the sky is full of stars, and the bright Orion in the city tends to be the protagonist, but here it is just one of the thousands of stars. And there's a lot of hard to say, come and feel the joy. This Homestay has a unique location, with breakfast spots looking up to the Snowy Mountains, and on the other side are colorful houses and green mountain views at different levels of eyes. On the way in, you see the master's thoughtful flower grass fence, the room is clean, the covered blanket is soft and thick, has the smell of the sun. The owner let us melt into their daily life, teach them to cook local food, pull milk tanks to make butter, go up the mountain to experience mowing grass, sit and eat, etc. There was also a song and dance experience, and I didn't participate because of my family's illness. The temperature is different day and night, and the family wake up in the middle of the night and drink the cool water that happened before it happened. The owner knew he had a fever, boiled hot tea, and gave us the big hot water at night, which was thoughtful. After that, she also gave us local ethnic clothes and accessories after breakfast, helped us dress up, and did a local delivery ceremony before we went, wearing a wreath, wears, hats, etc. It is a natural scenery that is sitting alone, it is worth going again, let alone the vegetables for the meal are many of the owner's own seeds, the seasoning is very good, but the fruit is not self-saved, but it is very sweet, even I eat more people who are not happy with apples on weekdays. It's a simple and sophisticated three meals, and even the stomach is well nurtured, no wonder foreign tourists choose to stay for a long period of one and a half months.

I had the best, most relaxing, time at Mahakuruna! I was doing a mix of working, hiking, relaxation. The place has a very nice construction, is tastefully decorated, and has nice additions like a wood fire and bath for if it gets a bit chilly. The view from the front door is also spectacular. Honestly, something that made the trip super simple and really elevated it was using Arun there (probably the only airbnb that comes with a chef 😆). All of the meals he cooked were both very healthy and delicious. I enjoyed every one. Walking down into the valley via all the villages was great. I would also recommend the hike up to Pitam Deurali that takes about 4hrs round trip. Add on Australian base camp too if you want to hike a bit longer, but be sure to take the route avoiding Pothana though, as there is a permit checkpoint there. I'm by no means advocating to skip getting a permit - if you wish to hike further afield, definitely get one! (from KTM or Pokhara in advance)

Ekraj and his family were outstanding hosts for my eight-week stay! I felt right at home and enjoyed the peaceful neighbourhood right away. All of the benefits of close proximity to lakeside amenities but thankfully tucked away in a very peaceful setting. For those wishing to work, the internet/wifi connection was very steady and even connected to the back-up power source in case of very infrequent power loss. There is a fantastic gym nearby for those hoping to maintain fitness, and the food options are plentiful. Highly recommend Ekraj's place for anyone looking for peace, quiet, and kindness in Pokhara!
