It is clean, comfortable, & uncluttered, a home away from home! It is surrounded by beautiful pines, in a safe neighborhood with accessible parking. Close by is the interstate with access to Iowa State Fair Grounds, and Downtown Des Moines. WP is attached to our home but it has its own separate outside entrance. Please send me any questions.

Drive into the attached garage and go upstairs where you will find your very private entrance to a quiet, peaceful, and restful living. Located 1 mile from the downtown area on a street loaded with large Oak and Walnut trees. A huge back yard in which to stroll or barbecue. It is the top half of my house complete with it's own kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. My residence is the bottom half of the house. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. You will have the lower level with an entrance from the front. There is a long term tenant upstairs with sole access to the back deck and entrance from that deck.

Beautiful historic duplex house in the heart of woodland heights. Walking distance to downtown and next to Ingersoll avenue which is full of shops, bars, restaurants and more. Our place allows 2 parking spots on site with a side entrance to your upstairs Airbnb. The 800+ sq ft space includes a private kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, and balcony with views of downtown. Picnic table and grassy area below balcony can be used on those nice Iowa days.

Jason is a great host, quick to respond, and very friendly! He has thought of everything and the shared house is one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The other guests when I was there were great also which helps. But the WiFi was fast and worked great for remote working, everything was very clean, and overall a quiet, great experience. One thing to note is the room is upstairs so it can get pretty warm in the summer. But Jason was more than happy to keep the temperature low enough at night so I could be comfortable enough. This was much appreciated If im ever back in Des Moines, I’ll absolutely look for Jason’s listing first!

Spotless room, bathroom, and home. Instructions were detailed and specific, which I appreciated. Room was easy to find based on description. I liked having a bathroom to myself. Instructions were provided for how to use the lamps, WiFi, location of usb/plugs. Friendly host; I appreciated being able to park in the driveway instead of on the street, but still, it’s a dead end in a quiet neighborhood so I would have been fine with on street parking too.

The apartment was clean and exactly what we expected. Check in was easy and Sheryl was responsive and helpful when we had questions. The neighborhood is great with coffee shops, restaurants, and breweries all within walking distance. I would happily recommend staying here!
