Our cosy hut consists of a comfortable bedroom with an enchanted view of Assaroe Lake: enjoy it on our 3 deckings! The cabin is very close to our house but secluded from it, buried in the woods. The room provides a tranquill escape from frantic life:- there’s no television or WiFi, just a radio. Kitchen facilities are basic but functional. We provide the basis for a continental breakfast. Beaches and hiking trails are very close by. WE ACCEPT PETS ONLY AFTER CONSULTATION WITH THEIR OWNER.

The location is fabulous, there is nowhere better than this house! We met Alanna, and she is so helpful, nice and friendly. The scones and hot tea upon arrival were super heartwarming. The house is cozy and warm! We were with our 3 doggies and they were so happy living right at the beach! Thank you so much Alanna for everything! We will come back again!!!

Amazing accommodation in an amazing setting. The house is very high-spec, warm, comfortable, clean and perfect for our needs. The view from the main sitting area has to be seen to be believed. We have travelled extensively in Donegal staying in a wide variety of accommodation but Martin's place is our new favourite. Check-in and all communication with Martin was easy. We will definitely be back.

What a truly magical place, a place where the faeries live… that’s how beautiful it is 💛 The cottage was a dream, with stunning grounds, a babbling stream 😍… everything about it was amazing! We were warmly welcomed and given a lovely tour by Michael, the owner and a true gentleman, which set the scene for a fabulous weekend. We had such a special time … thank you so much, Michael and Yvonne. We’ve already booked to come back in two weeks! 🤩

We really enjoyed our weekend in the accommodation. Check in was super easy. The house was spotless, everything we needed was there. Added bonus was the accommodation had WiFi. We came with our two dogs and the outside area was so secure. The two dogs really enjoyed having a nose around the garden. Lovely views around the cottage. The area was so peaceful but didn’t feel isolated. The host was so helpful, extremely responsive and overall lovely to deal with! We will definitely be back.
