Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Demopolis

Our family (of 4 + dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Alabama Beaver House. We utilized the convenient fire pit for s’mores every night and enjoyed exploring the surrounding woods. It was conveniently located 8 minutes from the tennis tournament we attended and about 15 minutes from all of our other activities (mini golf, bowling, swimming hole, University campus, and shopping). The house was clean, well kept, and had everything we needed. Also, our dog felt right at home. Christine was incredibly helpful and promptly answered my many questions throughout our stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage so much! We were in town for my son’s wedding and stayed 4 nights. It was so comfortable!

We had a wonderful experience. The accommodations were exactly as described. We were in town with family to celebrate a graduation from the University of Alabama. We found it a quick drive to and from the campus. We didn’t get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we would have loved because of rain and functions on campus, but we’d love to return just to stay at the house. So peaceful and welcoming! Ms. Sarah is a very nice lady, responds faster than expected. if somethings is wrong she gets right to it fast. the pictures really does it no justice. it is a nice size studio apartment. and I really like how the fridge and everything is tucked away in the way. very peaceful.

I was in the area which is very rural for a retriever hunt test and needed a comfortable and safe place to stay. Motels are scarce and not very appealing that are there. This is an old farmhouse which I love that was perfect for my needs. Great place to air the dogs. Very private and I was staying alone but felt very safe and secure. There are no restaurants near so bring food in. My hosts left me a dozen farm fresh eggs to use as well! Kitchen is well equipped for a rental. It suddenly turned cold and they even had the heat on for me so that it would be warm when I arrived. As in any older home there are not as many electrical outlets so take a multiple outlet with you and a short extension cord . I always travel with one. There is one there in one of the bedrooms as well. My bed was very comfortable. I will probably be back in the area for another event and definitely plan to stay again if so.

Laura’s place was just what we needed for our weekend in town for a wedding. Our toddler had a great time running around the large front yard, and we enjoyed being right on the river.

The place is absolutely lovely, we really enjoyed our stay. Mike was an amazing host. We love meeting his dog and our dog enjoyed playing with him. It was nice to be able to sit around a big table and have meals together with my family. Our trip was there for a graduation for my daughter and it was the perfect place for all of us. Thank you!

House is beautiful and in a nice area. Easy to find and great communication with host. We were there for graduation and it was conveniently located and fully stocked with all we needed. Beds were comfortable, clean and neat home, beautifully decorated. If ever back in the are I would definitely stay again!!!

Beautiful place and venue. We were their for a family wedding- lots of space, nice size bedrooms and a fabulous kitchen. We had a wonderful time at the Cedars while celebrating my son’s wedding in Demopolis. Thank you!

Jackie was a very good hostess. She has decorated her Airbnb so nice. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. She was more than helpful with a problem we encountered, nothing to do with our stay there. Had a very enjoyable stay.

This is our third time staying at the cabin. It is perfect for our annual hunting trip. It allows us the peacefulness and privacy for our get together. Michael is a wonderful host, and we pray that we can continue to rent into the future.

Great place, a memorable experience.

I really enjoy working with the company that deals with this listing. The cottage is very clean, very responsive host, and very accommodating. I misread that their was no "bedroom." That is my fault. It will sleep three with a pull out couch, and the twin bed in the room. It did provide what we needed for the weekend. I think it was a little pricey, but everywhere is for "family weekend." So, I would definitely look at prices for other weekends with my college son. It is about 10-15 minutes from campus. If you are looking for somewhere close by this is not it. However, the owners and hosts will work with you whenever possible, and will accommodate your entire family with that true southern charm. Thank you!
