Stone and Thistle Farm is an ideal escape from the city or and a perfect destination for any farm-curious animal lover. The private suite is lovely in an idyllic setting surrounded by green rolling hills, populated by a menagerie of farm animals- who you’ll meet and learn about on the farm tour. Denise has a beautiful approach to raising livestock and shares the experience with guests. The bathroom is newly renovated and the bed is remarkably comfortable memory foam. Great restaurants in Oneonta and Delhi are just 20 minutes away. Denise gave us excellent recommendations. We can’t wait to go back.

Bill and Deborah are so sweet and hospitable. This place actually has a lot of history and it is really old and creaky and fun. These fine people took me and my cat in for three months when I moved to NY for a job and had nowhere to live because the housing market is crazy in this area. This is a short drive from Oneonta, from some great trails, about an hour from Albany…it is in a quiet area in a small little town and a lot of back roads for great running and cycling. My room at the inn was great and these guys were so accommodating and nice!

the room was nice, and bill provided towels and soap for us to use. the building is nice, feels a bit like being transported back in time. good place to stay for winter adventures. would definitely recommend!

Needed a last minute place to stay and this was the perfect option. It's a great value. It's an old inn that seems to have recently been renovated. A few tweaks and it could easily be an upscale bed and breakfast. Room was simple and clean, host was kind enough to even give me an upgrade. Parking easily accessed alongside the building. I Didn't stay long, so not sure what's around the area but it's on the highway, so there were businesses around. One important thing to note is that when I stayed the address that airbnb directs you to when you click the directions button was incorrect. It sent me out into the middle of a nearby farmland. Be sure to get the address from the host and type it into your GPS yourself, if it's taking you somewhere that isn't on the highway (or any road for that matter) then it's wrong.

The family and I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb, The space was beautiful with fantastic lighting that created a warm and inviting atmosphere throughout. Korey and Tara went above and beyond, providing excellent suggestions for local shops and restaurants that made exploring the area a delight. The recommendations were spot-on. The attention to detail and thoughtful touches made this a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend this gem to anyone visiting!

Absolutely gorgeous stay here! Went with a group of friends for my husbands birthday and everyone agreed- this was one of the best Air BnBs! The waterfall is stunning and sooooo close to the property, pus there's an amazing viewing deck right next to it. Even though it rained the whole weekend we were there, everyone was comfortable, happy, and it felt like we had plenty of things to do with the game room and movies :) We also brought our baby and there was a pack and play and crib for her. Great internet. Snacks! Very responsive and kind host. Best spot!

Perfect location for those playing at Cooperstown All Star Village. Convenient for grocery shopping and other needs. Short drive to Main Street. Friendly communication! Beautiful waterfalls which provided our kids with "good ole fashioned fun" of exploring and hiking! Two thumbs up!

Matthew was a great host! He was nice and available and we look forward to coming back to his house in the winter and go skiing!

This attractive apartment was perfect for my first visit to Andes. It was only 2 blocks from the town. I felt safe with Jodie right next door yet enjoyed complete privacy. Everything was clean. The rooms were tastefully decorated. I appreciated the snacks and especially the wonderful coffee and the Andes mints!!!! Thankful also for her allowing me to check in earlier. She is a generous, thoughtful host and I would stay there again and suggest the apartment to friends.

Great place to stay with amazing view! Wish I had more time to take one of the yoga classes offered in the studio upstair. Theresa was very responsive and provided helpful tips and local recommendation well ahead so I didn't have to do research :)

Delaware House was a cozy, clean and convenient place to stay when visiting Andes. Communications with the host couldn't have been better. The room was comfortable and clean. I can't say how much I appreciated this stay. It's not easy to find a decent, let alone a nice, place to stay when visiting the area.

I think this is the third time I have stayed at Sally's property during the Delaware County Fair week and it is always easy, clean, well-appointed and comfortable. Sally is very easy to reach, addresses any concerns (not that I had any during the stay), and has a beautiful property stay at and take walks and hikes around. She has added blinking lights to the wagon wheels at the driveway entrance which makes it very easy to find. It does get very dark in that area of Walton at night. I would not hesitate to stay at Sally's property again and hope to do so for fair week of 2025! Thanks Sally!!
