We stayed at Grace Green Ville Homestay for 6 days and had a truly memorable experience. The home was spotless, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with a lovely garden that made it even more relaxing. Renuka was an incredible host, kind, thoughtful, and always attentive. Her homemade food was absolutely delicious, and she took such care in preparing each meal. One day, after a casual conversation about our favorite desserts, she surprised us by making it from scratch, it was such a touching and thoughtful gesture. She constantly checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and we shared some warm and meaningful conversations during our stay. Her hospitality made us feel completely at home, and her kindness left a lasting impression on all of us. We couldn’t have asked for a better host. Thank you, Renuka, for everything, you made our stay truly special!

This place was absolutely lovely and felt just like home from the moment we arrived. The property itself is beautiful—comfortable, clean, and full of charm—but what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible hospitality. Janaka and his staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and their warmth and kindness made us feel like part of the family. Every meal was a treat—delicious, homemade, and clearly made with love. Sitting down to eat each day felt more like a family gathering than just a meal service. It’s rare to find a place that not only meets your expectations but far exceeds them in every way. We left with full hearts (and full stomachs!) and can’t wait to come back one day. Highly recommend!

Un grand merci à nos hôtes pour leur accueil incroyablement chaleureux ! Nous avons été conquis dès notre arrivée par ce domaine magnifique, une maison entourée de jardins éblouissants, parfaitement entretenus. C’est un lieu vraiment apaisant, où l’on se sent immédiatement bien. Initialement, nous avions prévu d’y rester une nuit… et nous avons prolongé notre séjour à trois jours tant nous nous y sentions bien. À Nekombo, Colombo, ce lieu a été une véritable bouffée d’air, un havre de paix et de confort. Tout est pensé pour la détente : une piscine agréable, un cadre reposant, une cuisine exceptionnelle (la meilleure que nous ayons goûtée au Sri Lanka !), la climatisation dans la chambre, une salle de bain impeccable avec des produits de qualité… et même une boisson de bienvenue à l’arrivée. Ils sont venus nous en apporter une autre pendant qu’on profitait de la piscine – des petites attentions qui font toute la différence. Les hôtes sont adorables, flexibles. Je recommande à 100%.

Had one of the best experiences at Sunrise palace, we missed our flight and needed a quick booking for a place to stay, I bumped into Sunrise Palace and instantly was booked in. I got to the air bnb it's in the inside street but once the gate opens it looks beautiful, the place is big, sleeps alot of people, extremely clean, balcony in the rooms, extremely clean washrooms, impeccable stay I had the service was phenomenal, the food was fresh and tasty, we all had the omelet and wow it tasted so healthy and gave us fruits and fresh juice, as well as water bottles. This place is just amazing and I will be back in March thank you so much !

It was a beautiful stay, we could feel very home and without reservation although living in the same house with the host family (in separate Appartement of course). The Family is very very friendly and the dogs lovely and quite. We got delicious breakfast and dinner delivered to our balcony. The garden at the lake is beautiful and we felt peace to wake up with this view. We slept with open doors and fresh air and it was very quite. Everything is possible to get (dinner, scooter rental, massage, beer, airport shuttle, excursions) so it is a great service. We also especially liked that we don‘t have the feeling to have to pay for every small thing like at other places, here the kayaks, bikes and Breakfast are included in the price/for free. The neighbourhood is nice and safe. Thanks for the great stay and hospitality- we are so happyto have found this places for last enjoyable days of our vacation!

Siamo arrivate molto presto rispetto all’orario di check-in, ma ci hanno fatto accomodare e servito acqua e the. Ci hanno preparato la camera il prima possibile e sono stati sempre molto disponibili. Sanjeewa è molto presente ma discreto, disponibilissimo a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. La colazione inoltre è stata molto tradizionale e ci hanno spiegato per bene tutti cibi e la loro preparazione. Un posto veramente carino, semmai ripasseremo a negombo ci ritornerò!

What a nice place located in a really good neighbourhood with cafees and shopping. Nice room, good bed and really friendly staff.

This place was perfect for what we needed. Location was great, and Thushara was very knowledgeable about Colombo, he gave us lots of information and advice about where to go and was really helpful with information for our journey on to Dambulla. Breakfast in the morning was a real treat. Definitely recommend!

Indika and his wife are great hosts. Indika was kind enough to consider arrange a room for my parents (as my sick mother was sick cannot climb stairs.) in the ground floor, where Indika’s family usually resides. Within 5 minutes of arrival, Indika made us feel homely! Bathrooms were sparkling clean! We also ordered Breakfast and Dinner, which were cooked by Indika’s wife. The food was prepared considering special dietary requirements and was tasty as well. We visited the Mahamevnawa temple, located close to Indika’s place, and Indika was enough to drive us there. Would highly recommend this place!

Ms.Hiranthi’s house was an elegantly designed spacious high ceiling architecture with a modern elevator and a Generator providing everything we can asked for. Me and my family visited Sri Lanka from USA for a week and Ms. Hiranthi was very responsive and take hospitality very seriously. She made our stay very pleasant and coordinated our needs well in advance. House is located at Colombo 05 convenient location, very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to everything you need including hospitals, restaurants, grocery stores and etc. Sumangali is a kind and trustworthy house maid who ensures daily cleanliness and take care of the house at a high standard. Also she has provided us a great service of doing our laundry and making delicious Sri Lankan meals. I would 100% recommend a stay here. SUPER HOST!!!

Padminee was a really very kind host. They welcomed us and prepared super breakfasts and gave us helpful information about places to visit. The room was nice and the fan allowed us not to feel the heat. They were really nice and helpful!

Fantastic place to stay in Colombo 5, not easy to find but so worth it when you do find it. Excellent hospitality and lovely clean comfortable bed and room. Plunge pool is brilliantfsSz to cool off and the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was so deliciousEz. Staff very attentive and I think one of the best stays wTin Sri Lanka. Thankyou

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt in Srilal’s Unterkunft. Dies war unser erster Stop nachdem wir gelandet sind. Zimmer war sehr sauber und so wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Tatsächlich hatten wir sogar warm Wasser in der Unterkunft, wo wir uns sehr drüber gefreut haben. Das Restaurant direkt vor dem Zimmer war sehr praktisch. Preis Leistung war ok. Schade das das Frühstück nicht inbegriffen war aber Sirlal hatte für uns was vorbereitet (mit Aufpreis) Das Bett ist nicht das längste deswegen für große Menschen nicht so geeignet. Da unsere Reise nach einer Nacht weiter ging hat uns Srilal noch gezeigt wie wir am besten und günstigsten weiterkommen und wo wir die nächste Bus Stops finden. Wenn man eine Frage oder ein Anliegen hatte dann war er immer da.

Great location where you can really relax. Rohan and his staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room was very spacious, as was the bathroom and the terras was a very nice place to relax and enjoy the evening. The food was good, we enjoyed the local dishes!

It was a relaxing stay at Michael's. The room was neat and tidy and we felt right at home during our stay. I would definitely recommend their Airbnb for any guests.
