Great place!! Very spacious one bedroom and full kitchen and full bathroom was great!! Prepare for a soft bed and plenty of extra everything. Was wonderful view of peaceful farm land. Pictures do not do it justice- beautiful inside and out. We loved the access to laundry too. The family and their sweet doggie were friendly and helpful. Amazing place in the heart of all the great things to do in the UP! If you have any mobility challenges I do recommend selecting another spot though, as this lower level of a house apartment is only accessible down a step grass slope with no walkway, handrails or stairs.

It truly feels like home! An amazing place to stay. You can literally find everything you need during your stay at Rich’s place: from great spots nearby to a cozy space to relax and enjoy some time indoors. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

Getting to the place was easy. Nikki was proactive about giving us the codes and providing a very flexible check in schedule. The place was very clean. It had all the amenities as described. We were there in mid June and the weather had not warmed up as expected. Mosquitoes were a nuisance . We loved the camp fire , but wished there were a supply of the mosquito repellent by the camp fire site. Kitchen and the gathering space are large enough for the party of 14-16. Kitchen is well equipped too. My only suggestion will be to have a large enough chopping board and at least one sharp knife if the guests are planning to cook there. Overall, the place was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed the few days we spent there.

Charming, cozy cabin in the most peaceful setting. The river, the swing, outside table and chairs to enjoy breakfast and dinner on the deck just made it an even more wonderful stay. All the amenities you need and then some and just a short drive into town for dining, shopping, sightseeing and more. The cabin is inviting upon arrival and Theresa is very responsive. We would love to stay here again!
