Family-friendly holiday rentals in Deer Lake

Joel’s place was exactly as described! Was a piece of heaven and the hot tea b was always a great way to finish off a day of hiking. There is a binder there that is full of so much info about local shops and hikes and medical stuff and groceries, etc - I just loved that binder!! Chateau Shady loop was a great starting point to all areas of Gros Morne while also being close to groceries and bigger shops of Deer Lake. Joel replies within minutes to any specific questions we had. The place was spotless when we arrived. The sunsets in the hot tub and watching Stanley Cup hockey in the super comfortable rec room chairs were definitely highlights - thank you and we hope to come back some day!!

We loved our stay at this chalet! The place was very clean and had lots of kitchen supplies. We especially enjoyed our time on the deck and there was plenty of furniture and space for us to use. We will miss having morning coffee on the deck with the amazing view!

Was a wonderful spot to stay. Myself and 3 colleagues were golfing for work. It was a great place to kick back and relax. The horseshoes were fun out in the back yard, and everyone had their own room with a bathroom. You cant go wrong staying at a place like this.... Great experience for us all! Thanks to the hosts for the stay :)

Place was perfect for our needs. Hot tub was great after all the hiking and kids loved it. Place had the required necessities and Andre and his partner were wonderful people. Very helpful and gave us some good tips. Worth a stay if you want to be off the grid but wifi is there should you need it :) It’s only 20 minutes from Deer Lake and right off the highway towards Rocky Harbour and Tablelands, so very central to go in either direction.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect environment for our family to stay together, hot tub was great and the views/area are beautiful. Thank you!

We had a great time staying at this beautiful and spacious home. The location was very convenient and surrounded by stunning nature. We even caught some brook trout nearby! The host was kind and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Another perfect stay at Andre's place! Our favorite airbnb in Gros Morne. Andre and his partner are so friendly and helpful. Wonderful hosts. The cabins are always squeaky clean and cozy. The hot tub is great for after hiking and the fire pit is always stocked with wood. We can't wait to stay again already! Thank you so much 🙂 10/10

Beautiful spot right along the river. We ate at both of the restaurants on the resort, both amazing food. Very accommodating to my food restrictions. There’s a pool, you can go kayaking, bbq your own dinner if you choose. Very friendly staff. We would definitely return.

Great place for a short stop. We chose it as a result of ferry delay and because of the price. We were off season so many places not open, and we only had one good day of weather. Nobody’s fault. It was nice to have the kitchen and laundry facility after two weeks of hotels and tent camping. The bed from the main bedroom was not comfortable for me however.

Absolutely beautiful place and comfortable home. Alicia’s house had everything we needed and more. Adults, kids, and dog did not want to leave! The village is friendly too - lots to see and do and eat nearby (though we enjoyed cooking at home too). Highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this beach front oasis, it is very private and quiet no neighbours on either side and a beautiful view of the water and mountains. One of my favourite airbnbs I have ever stayed at. Thomas was great to communicate with, very friendly and accommodating. I would very much recommend staying here!

Great spot a quick 5-10 min walk or 2 min drive from Marble mountain! Amazing restaurant on site. Clean place, comfortable. Would stay there again!

Jean was the friendliest of all of our seven hosts in Newfoundland! She met us at the door and really made us feel welcome and at home! We regretted not being able to stay longer here! The cabin was cozy and had all of the essentials, and was in a great spot - Norris Point is a lovely, quiet town with a view, and a good jumping-off point for Gros Morne adventures!

Stacey was an amazing host! She was very accomodating, friendly and often thought of us- recommending local businesses and letting us know when the local stores had fresh sourdough! The apartment was gorgeous, and the view this time of year is even better! You simply cannot pass up the opportunity to stay here!

We loved staying here. We did some cooking and everything we needed (and more!) was on hand.. A very well thought out little cabin. Also, very nice bedding, which I appreciate.

Thank you for lovely stay! It was nice and quiet. We were able to walk in town from the cottage and enjoy the view. Great little coffee shop too!

Alison is a friendly host and her place is well appointed. It was perfect for a two person get-away. Woody Point is a lovely location near Tablelands hike. It was a great alternative to the more touristy areas around the Park. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay and would highly recommend Gros Morne Tiny Chalet to our friends! Great communication with our hosts and check in/ check out was easy and affective. Location was perfect for hiking within the park as it was only a few minutes drive to the welcome center. Cabin was clean and adorable!

Nice views, house wonderful, beds comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with all needed gadgets. Easy walk into town.

We got there a day early and Sheila arranged a place to stay for us nearby. Her place was central to our excursions. Enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who needs to stay in this area.

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin. Very clean and bed was really comfortable. Great location to the shops and restaurants that are available in the rural area of Gros Morne. We spoke to the hosts when we saw them outside and they were incredibly friendly and nice. We would recommend. We’d also choose Bouy & Arrow as the restaurant to go to - over Fisherman’s Landing.

A tiny cabin indeed - perfect for our stay in Gros Morne - we spent 5 nights in the area and we were very happy. We discovered fantastic restaurants, friendly people, scenic hikes and spectacular memories at Westbrook Pond. Tracy was always available to offer any assistance.
