what a wonderful hidden gem. We absolutely loved this home. The house is exactly as advertised. It was so cool to learn all the history of the home and see the pictures as well. We were in town for a concert so we did not get to enjoy all the extra amenities this place has to offer. We are already talking about booking a second trip back just to be able to fully experience all the property has to offer. Brandi was super responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend! We had a great stay and enjoyed our time there! It felt private, but it was also close to various activities and many restaurants.

The place looked even better in person than it did in the pictures. Parking was limited, but the inside was very spacious and very clean. Jill is great to work with and very nice! I let Jill know that we would be getting ready for my wedding there and she left a bottle of champagne with a sweet note. Overall a fantastic place to stay!

Great family get away with small kids! Very clean! We loved the play n pack and air mattress provided with extra linens.

Unfortunately our original plans to have 3 couples stay at Jason’s place fell through. The cabin would have been perfect for our group with plenty of privacy for sleeping and terrific common areas for enjoying each other’s company. Plan B was just my husband and I and our adult son. We liked having the pond behind the unit and took advantage of bird and turtle watching and did a little fishing for catch and release Bluegill. The proximity to Starved Rock is the biggest draw. We did a lot of hiking and bird watching. The guys got in a round of golf at nearby Deer Park and highly recommend it. Garzanelli’s Supper Club is a must, with dining like it should be. Great food, friendly atmosphere and delicious after dinner ice cream drinks. Baked & Brewed in Utica have cupcakes that are to die for. My husband called them “ridiculously good!”

We had such an incredible Memorial Day weekend at Nicole's cabin! This was our first Airbnb experience and it was flawless. The cabin is charming, clean and well appointed with everything you could possibly need. We loved all of the games and the fireplaces, it was nice to see the kids actually put down their phones for the weekend! The location was perfect to enjoy the scenery at Starved Rock. Nicole was a wonderful host, responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!!!

Every need was anticipated, from extra blankets and towels to a basket of treats when we walked in. Above all, Kristin was incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay and was always available for any questions we had. Such a kind and thoughtful host. We will definitely be back!

The place and property were amazing! Joe was very helpful when we locked ourselves out 😂. Very peaceful and secluded. We will be staying there again next year for sure and hopefully can have the rest of our friends stay at the silo next door. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quite getaway!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. It's right on Matanzas Beach, minutes from Havana. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin felt much larger than expected. Lynda has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ grill. The views are gorgeous, and sitting on the deck or by the firepit during sunset is not to be missed. There are some great restaurants / bars in Havana, including Babe's, Stag Tap, Lulu's, and Riverside Grill. And of course Peaches for ice cream. Lynda was very helpful & checked on us to make sure we got in & had everything we needed. I would love to stay at the cabin again!

The cabin was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. Caught four bass within the first five minutes of fishing right off the shore behind the cabin. The basement and Deck space were great aswell.

Our VRBO cancelled on us when we got there so we booked this and were checked in within a half hour. Host was responsive immediately and it was clean! We had a slight problem with some things beeping and he came over that morning to fix and offered us an extra night or late check out. The house was beautiful and peaceful and private. We did have 3 infants and it was a little hard sometimes because there are two staircases, and only one bedroom has doors (one is a loft and one is in the basement) but it wouldn’t have been a problem with adults or older kids. Our stay was great and we would definitely stay again!

Perfect for a weekend stay near Starved Rock Park. Spacious living and sleeping areas, clean house and nice complex for families and dogs. Would go back again.

We highly recommend Kishauwau Cabins!! We loved our stay in Pines cabin. It was sparkling clean, spacious, and had every comfort. The front porch swing was our favorite spot, so relaxing to listen to the quiet forest. We appreciated the binder with information on all the local attractions and restaurants. We were impressed with the books, games, and DVDs for checkout in the office as well as the items for purchase we might need. Terisa was great to work with and obviously cares about providing the best for her guests.

Wonderful place to stay! Cabin was clean and comfortable. Loved that the office was open and little things you forget are available 24/7. Terisa was very prompt to answering questions and helpful to answer questions about things to do in the area. Checking in and out was a painless process. Plan to return with my family and rent a larger cabin in the future.

We loved the peace and quiet of the area and spent quite a bit of time relaxing at the cabin and enjoying all the amenities, such as a full kitchen, grill, outside firepit and jacuzzi tub. It’s close to Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Park for some scenic day hiking. We also did a wine tasting in downtown Utica and stopped at Lodi Tap House, which has a great selection of craft beers. It was the perfect getaway from city life. We will definitely be staying here again!

Terisa was always in contact with me and was very responsive through text for any questions I had. The place was very clean and had everything we needed! There was a nice fire pit outside. It was a very nice and quiet getaway. We will definitely return!

A great experience! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were looking for. Communication, check in, check out, etc. were all easy. I would definitely stay again.

Over all great cabin. A bit pricey since you’re required to clean up EVERYTHING along with driving the trash off the location. I never had to clean up or take trash out at an air bnb. Considering I’m paying a cleaning fee this should defiantly be adjusted.

This was the perfect getaway from the city, the swing in the back porch was my favorite, the whirlpool tub was the best thing after a long day of hiking and overall it was such a good experience I cannot wait to book a stay here again!
