This new house has an artistic, minimalist architecture with a soothing, calming atmosphere. We appreciated the lack of unnecessary items or kitschy decorations. The house is surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The view was fantastic, no TV is needed. The comfortable sleeping places were high quality and had large duvets. There was a lot of peace, although the only neighbouring house was sometimes being built. Since it was light in the morning in May, one of us had too few options for darkening. The host really cares about his guests, he was always proactive, very helpful and responsive. We travelled without a car and for the last kilometres it worked well with the call bus (phone or app). The on-call bus has certain operating times and a time lead. Under certain conditions, some trips are even free (taxis are horrendously expensive).

We were allowed to spend a nice week in this unique accommodation and immediately felt very comfortable. The house is idyllically located on the edge of the forest, surrounded by nature, but still very well connected to the infrastructure and thus ideal starting point for hikes and exploring. A particularly beautiful view can be enjoyed from the terrace, which has been lovingly built on a hill and constantly invites you to enjoy peace and relaxation. The property is very comfortable, well equipped and offers everything to feel comfortable. We were welcomed warmly and provided with good tips for excursions and activities, communication went remarkably well and quickly, from minute 1 of booking. :) Paul and his mother are loving and committed hosts, always helpful and available. At this point, a big thank you to both for a nice relaxing time as well as the trust to have shared their idyllic treasure with us.

Very quiet location in the countryside, very cozy large apartment with very large facilities, on 2 floors, interesting mix of old interior with modern facilities. We went hiking directly from the house, you could take many tours from here!

We were 9 + baby in the accommodation, this is very rural, i.e. it was always very quiet. The furnishings of the house were very rustic and cozy, lots of wood :) you feel very comfortable. Cooking in the kitchen was no problem, everything you need was there. Very large garden with beautiful terrace and other seating options, there is also table tennis in the garden, which we used extensively :D Shopping only a few minutes away by car, we also used the mini golf course, which was about 15 minutes away by car. Communication with Larissa was very pleasant :) She responds very quickly and answers all questions at any time. If we had to name a shortcoming, it might be that the outdoor grill is very small for 10 people (2 normal-sized grill cups fit in). We enjoyed our weekend very much and can highly recommend the accommodation! Thank you!! :)

Sonja and Anton are great hosts, we were warmly welcomed The individual little things in the house immediately invited you to feel good They give good tips and are always available and give you the necessary freedom and privacy The house is a beautiful family project, surrounded by greenery and really invites you to relax We were here with our dog, he was also warmly welcomed and felt great here, for him the direct access to the forest was a dream Styria is a beautiful area and offers so many possibilities for excursion destinations (also with dogs) We will be happy to come back.

We absolutely loved our weekend at the Shepard’s House. The house was very clean and well styled.The children played in the garden, we did a few walks through the surrounding woodlands, we made evening fires and enjoyed Antonia and her family showing us their stunning sheep farm (be sure to enjoy some of their products - we bought lamb meat and her freshly baked bread! Delicious). We will back! It’s the perfect relaxed get away.
