Our cottage is situated right on the border of National Park 'Dwingelderveld'. Imagine yourself watching out over the meadows. Gazing at the star lit sky at night while enjoying a bonfire. Or spend a lovely evening inside in front of the fireplace. The cottage was recently renovated and fitted with all the amenities you could wish for. It has a fenced of spacious garden. Ruinerwold, 18th century farm

Our monumental farm is located between Meppel and Ruinerwold. The original front house offers space for up to 9 adults or 6 adults and 4 children. Since its construction in 1756, this front house has remained unchanged, and the oldest beams date back to the 12th century. The farm, one of the most beautiful in Drenthe, has been a national monument for more than 60 years and is not open to the public, but fortunately is described in several books.

Boshuisje Uffelte - at night it is really dark

Relax in our comfortable and modern furnished 'Boshuisje Uffelte'. Our cottage is located on the edge of the forest where you can see the deer walking and a wide variety of birds . In short, an oasis of nature and peace. Our beautiful Boshuisje has all the amenities needed for a wonderful carefree stay. Here it gets really dark and a sea of stars can be seen. We do not allow pets because we also grant guests with allergies a pleasant stay.
