This listing was the perfect place for our romantic and peaceful getaway ! The place is spacious yet cozy and nestled within nature. Our host, Jillian, was kind and always responsive to any questions we had along the way. If you stay here you will be delighted with the home’s soothing atmosphere. We would definitely stay here again !! :)

Muskrat Landing was a home away from home. The outdoor firepit was amazing where we spent much of our time during the evening. Dry wood and fire starters in the woodbox outside. Board games when it was raining. We utilized the full kitchen for all of our meals. Spices and condiments were very appreciative. The house was clean and very beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfy and linens so white. We wanted to utilize the kayaks, but the weather was not so accommodating. Thank you Tom and Kat for the personalized gift basket with the goodies and those gluten free cupcakes!. What a surprise that was!!

I was in the area for a concert. This was the perfect place to be able to rest before the 6 hour drive back home. We had enough time to sit at the river and enjoy the scenery. It was beautiful, clean, peaceful, and safe! We will be back in the area in a few months and hope to be able to stay here again!

From June 8, 2024 - August 17, 2024 you must check in on a Saturday and check out on a Saturday. Other reservation requests will not be accepted during our busy summer season. Near area attractions, but no crowds! Mother Nature calls through the stunning views of the many windows. Kayak with bald eagles or take a day trip floating down the Susquehanna. Soak in the beauty of nature from the porch swing or the patio relaxing by the waterfall. Lots of hiking. Neighborhood pool. Go fishing.
