The Summer Guesthouse in Darwin was everything we were hoping for from our three-night stay between Kakadu and the Kimberley. The location was really convenient, very close to the major Casuarina shopping centre and an easy 15-20 minute drive to the major attractions of Mindil Beach and the Waterfront area. The house itself was spotlessly clean, well appointed and extras like Netflix, beautiful swimming pool, and a tranquil Bali-resort style undercover upstairs deck. Eva is a gracious host - welcoming and easily contactable but equally respectful of guests privacy too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and finished our stay having recharged, relaxed and restocked ready for the next leg of our big NT adventure!

Very nice place. And kind host. Clean and close to the squash court. We really enjoyed staying here.

Had a great stay. House has aircon and fans in each room that work which was fantastic. The pool was a bonus and the property is very secure. Would come back when in Darwin next

Amazing location with beautiful sunsets! Watch the sun go down from the patio or join the locals and have drinks and nibblies on the grassed public area in front of villa. Bike paths make it easy to access Military Museum, Museum & Art Gallery, Mindel Beach markets, sunset at Ski Club, Casino and all the city sights. We hired electric bikes for the week from Phil at Bicycle Fix. Great restaurants within walking distance. The Villa was well appointed with absolutely everything you need for your stay and many surprise items that are not found at other homes (ie. fishing rods, kayaks, staple pantry and laundry items). Thanks for the special local gifts. Comfortable beds and relaxed furniture. Perfect for our annual adult family holiday (8 adults) with plenty of different areas to come together or have your own space. Thanks for sharing your home with us Justine and making our holiday in Darwin memorable. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Our family stayed here while we had a baby then we continued our stay while our baby was in the nicu. Jeremy and Daniel were so easy to communicate with and happy to accommodate us when we had to make some changes to our original booking. The house was in a great spot, easy drive to the hospital and then right in the middle of things when we needed to stay home and have a break with our 2 year old. Great cafes in walking distance and then the jetty and the sunset playground was super close and fun for our daughter. She loved adventuring along the rocks at Nightcliff it’s such a good location. She also loved the toys & books that were at the house in the lounge room, definitely helped to keep her entertained for a few days!

Spotless, superb accommodation with everything you need for a visit to Darwin. Close to the airport and with a lovely ambience this was a fabulous stay! We really liked all the local recommendations and the fact that everything we needed was close at hand. Thank you for a lovely stay Jeanette!

Wonderful place to stay, welcoming and comfortable. Host was great with her communication and answered all my questions quickly. The townhouse was central to my needs and made my stay in Darwin with my dogs stress free. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Darwin.

Serena's place was very comfortable and beautiful. Thanks for the provided breakfast cereals and milks - we didn't have to buy anything extra. An easy walk to nearby cafes and the foreshore and convenient for visiting the city, beaches and friends in nearby suburbs.

This is the best equipped apartment we have ever stayed in. The location and views are wonderful. We walked and biked everywhere, and it is a short walk to the nightcliff pool, which was not busy. Cafe and the Beachy pub are also easy strolls. Of course, the sunsets were beyond amazing. Thx Shelley, we loved our visit to Darwin.

We had a wonderful 10 day stay. The room was centrally located and it was great to have parking onsite included. Having a kitchenette meant we could prep simple meals if we didn’t feel like eating out. The washer/dryer were convenient for our longer stay.

Like staying at clean and organised friends apartment whilst they are on holiday. Obviously several airbnb’s in the building, and this one was good. Gym is closed for renovations and swimming pool is fairly gloomy, but our small kids had fun for 30 mins before a flight. The flat is exactly as described. No issues at all. The best accommodation we had in NT by a mile (4 places in 1 week). Shame they’re all so expensive.

David's place was a perfect base for our long weekend in Darwin. Loved the bread, milk etc on arrival; lovely clean sheets and towels; aircon, fans, laundry facilities. It all made for a lovely, comfy stay. We could walk into town easily, and down to the waterfront. David was fantastic with communication and flexible with check out times etc. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

My stay at Lauren's home was thoroughly enjoyable. An excellent location that is a short walk to shops, cafe, restaurants and the beautiful Fannie Bay waterfront. I'm already hoping this beautiful home is available for my next visit to Darwin.

We had a fantastic stay at this Darwin CBD apartment! The location is perfect — just a stone’s throw away from fishing wharfs and jetties, and within easy driving distance to supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. Despite being in the heart of the city, the apartment is tucked away on a quiet street, giving us peaceful, restful nights. One of our favourite features was the spacious balcony with a lovely sea view and refreshing breeze — we found ourselves spending a lot of time there, especially in the mornings. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The well-equipped kitchen and generous cooking space made it easy for us to prepare our own breakfasts and dinners. Parking was also hassle-free with convenient car park access. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations and made our Darwin trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

My family and I stayed at Doug’s lovely place for a week. His apartment was very spacious, photos don’t do it justice, the apartment is great for families. kitchen fully equipped and a coffee machine and pods for coffee lovers. A fully equipped laundry which is super handy whilst on holidays. A lovely balcony to enjoy a beverage and snacks. Beds and pillows are super comfy with fresh crisp linen. Plenty of board games to keep family entertained. Air conditioners worked great! My family and I didn’t have far to go into CBD to explore or find a restaurant. Great communication with Doug, very quick to respond for any questions. So all in all a wonderful stay! Thank you Doug :)

Cassandra's place was amazing! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the balcony. It was spacious and had everything with needed. Cassandra was also very helpful and responded right away if we had questions. She gave really clear instructions on how to get in which is so important when you're travelling. You just want it to be easy. I would definitely recommend staying here. It's close to all the restaurants and downtown area.

What an amazing pad to stay in while exploring Darwin. This apartment has such a peaceful and picturesque setting right next to the amazing Darwin botanic gardens. The Airbnb is clean, tidy and extremely well stocked with amenities. Karen is a great host that checked in on us, provided flexible check in time, and gave great recommendations for our stay in Darwin. I’ll definitely have to book again for my next trip back!

Nice apartment, don't let the outside of the building fool you. Secure complex with covered parking space available. Apartment was very clean, seems recently renovated as well. Lots of additional little details like really useful things in the kitchen, it was like my mum stocked the kitchen with anything I might possibly need as far as utensils and crockery go. And bonus point for the garlic press 😀 Location is easy walking distance to CBD with lots of restaurants and pubs. It was perfect for our needs. However, it would probably be too small for a family stay. Would book again next time we're in Darwin.
