The apartment is located very close to the old town and restaurants. It is very comfortable and the highlights are the extras that Menelaos provides. All the fruits you can eat and even local delicacies are provided for free. He is very welcoming and gives you all the information you need about attractions and places to visit. He is very flexible regarding the checkin and checkout, which is really useful for your planning. We would choose again this apartment without a doubt.

Our stay was super nice! The hallmark of the apartments is the view from the respective terrace - you have to see. Especially at the sunset. The room is cute, clean and equipped with the most necessary. The bathroom is tiny and only usable for 1 person at the same time, which was not disruptive to us. Jurga has provided a number of tips for restaurants and things to do. The only annoying thing for which Jurga can't do anything is the rooster from the neighbor, who crows every 15 minutes. If you have a light sleep and like to sleep for a long time, that could be disruptive. We will be happy to come back.

The host was friendly and helpful. The apartment was very clean and cozy, with everything you need. I recommend it.

Our group had such a lovely time exploring Chania with Maryellen’s beautiful basement/backyard unit as our home base! The view cannot be beat! We made it a point to always make it back to the space so we could relish in each sunset from the comfort of the back patio. =) Despite being perched high above the town, the location is convenient to Chania’s old town / harbor. We found ourselves walking to town each evening for dinner and drinks, then cabbing back up the hill for only 12€ or so. Convenient to both the city center and airport, yet quiet and secluded. The space met and/or exceeded our expectations in every way. Photos are true to form, but the feeling of the space inside and out can only be appreciated through experience. Greatly appreciated Maryellen’s warm midwestern hospitality, quick responses and eagerness to lend her local tips! We took her up on many! Chania was the entire group’s favorite stop, and Maryellen’s space played a big part in that! Would recommend!!

This place was beautiful, on quiet road but close to old town! Great response and assistance from Katerina! Loved this place! Great kitchen, comfy beds, laundry provided and a chilled bottle of local wine on arrival! I wouldn’t change a thing! When back in Chania would certainly stay again. 4nights not enough for us! Local hiking and rides through the mountains were fantastic!

Andreas was a friendly and responsive host who answered our questions promptly. The flat was well equipped and in an excellent location very close to the old town. We would definitely stay again when next back in Chania!

We had a wonderful stay at Mike’s and Judy’s. The place was spacious both inside and out. What really made this villa so exceptional was the outdoor area… patio,pool and lovely garden with the most gorgeous views over Souda bay. I recommend bringing binoculars to enjoy it to its fullest!

What we loved Most was being in a regular neighborhood which was walkable to the heart of Hania but which was quiet and had a lovely bakery. Plus the balcony overlooking the water was wonderful as we could hear the waves crashing at night which was very therapeutic.

This is THE BEST place we stayed on our trip to Greece. The property manager, Eleanna, met us outside and she has amazing energy and made us feel very welcome and assured that we would have the best time in Chania. The apartment is so nice, it was hard for us to leave to go to another rental, knowing that it would not compare to this beautiful place. Beds were comfortable, balcony was amazing, fully opening windows were gorgeous! We were treated to fresh fruit, a bottle of wine and a nice array of snacks. Parking is a little sketchy - Had to drive through a very narrow alleyway to get to the apartment courtyard which was very spacious and had a gate for security. Chania is a magical town and we loved every second of being there and on Crete. If you are coming to Chania stay here, you will love it!

We had a really nice stay at Georgios place. Enjoying the seaside view while having breakfast on the terrace is amazing. The flat was clean and we found everything we needed. Would love to come back

Anna was a wonderful host. Her place was exactly what the listing stated. Location was near everything. Also, a great neighbourhood with a lot of shops, restaurants and the people were very nice and helpfull. I will definitely be recommending her place to my friends.

Orestis is an amazing host with an amazing house in an amazing location! We loved every moment we were here! A 1-2 minute walk to a beautiful Sandy beach, great restaurants down the street, the house has everything you'll need and more! We will definitely come back

This is such a cozy and comfy place. Beautifully decorated and sparkling clean - you almost don't want to disturb the perfection! The beds, the massive couch in the living room are all very comfortable so we woke up every morning well rested. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and in the bathroom (the latter was stocked with soaps, shampoos and creams). There is a small outdoor space , which we made use of for afternoon drinks and breakfast. Thr place is not right next to the old city, but the parking prices are very reasonable so we just drove in and parked at a big municipal parking. The place is also great as your base for day trips around the island. Our hosts were amazing, upon arrival we found fruit, wine, bread and Michalis popped in with a plate of freshly picked strawberries. Evelina gave us lots of tips on what to do and see - all great ideas. We had a great time and highly recommend the Violin House.

We were a party of five, my wife and I and 3 30 year olds, our two twins and a son-in-law. We all couldn't say enough good things about this home: the view has to be one of the best on the whole island, relaxing, extremely private and immediately felt right at home. Starting and ending each day with that view, I didn't need anything else, but there is as much to do as you want. For example, just 6 minutes down the hill, you have the great little town of Platka with a few delicious local restaurants, market and a nice sports bar if you want a cocktail...like me. Another 10 minutes down the hill you come to Alymrida, the small coastal city that has nearly a dozen varied restaurants right on the water. 40 minutes away is the charming city of Chania, the jewel of Crete. This home is centrally located, 20+ minutes from the highway to go anywhere you wish to go...but keep in mind your leaving this view behind. I hope you enjoy it half as much as we did.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Corner House - an adorable bijou apartment right in the middle of the town. The location is wonderful with the atmospheric and beautiful narrow streets around, and a lovely view onto a quiet square where the birds fly around. Michalis was so friendly and helpful giving us local recommendations for food. Though the street itself is calm there was a bit of noise of people walking home from their nights out on Saturday night - probably just a Saturday night thing and unavoidable in any city, but just a mention in case you are sensitive to sound! But we absolutely loved the apartment and would recommend to anyone.

Elina's place was a pure delight to stay in - so full of character, light, and offering nice view in all directions. Old city center is within a short walk. Parking directly outside the house can be tricky, but we were always able to find a parking spot on our street or nearby. Elina sent us good recommendations on local places to check out and answered my questions throughout our stay. Would love to stay again!

Fotis and Amalia are the nicest people. Their place was well provisioned, even with the best raki in the world. The view was spectacular. We wish we could have stayed there longer!

Everything was great! The apartment was new and well designed. Everything inside was perfect. The building also was brend new and it made the neighborhood look good. The location was fantastic, 10 minutes from old town and a very enjoyable walk next to the sea. We deffinitively had a great time. I would stay here everytime if i come to Crete again.

It was a special vacation. Pavlos is a great person very helpful in many ways. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Immaculate cleanliness of the house , pool and garden. The area of the apartment is impressive and the furnishings of the apartment. You can say a lot in superlatives. Our daughters were delighted and so were we. We'll definitely go back. The perfect place to explore the western part of the island. Peace and quiet. Private parking is a big advantage. We're so happy. We love this place. This was a good choice for us because we wanted a quieter area that was still close to the Harbor and had onsite parking, since we planned to drive a lot. This worked perfectly for us - a recently-renovated apartment in a residential part of town, away from most tourists, yet still only 2.5km from the Harbor. There is a grocery store and a bakery within 5 minutes walk, lots of other things within 10 minutes walk. Apartment is nice and clean, communication was easy. Washing machine was a nice plus. We would stay here again.

My wife and I had a magical time staying here at Geo’s listing. It had the most amazing views, it was serviced like a hotel, it was spotless and it felt so safe. It’s in a very good location exactly as described. We would come back here in a heartbeat.
