Waterfront holiday rentals in Danta Beach

We absolutely love this place. This is our second year in playa Potrero. We have looked at multiple places in the area. This is by far the best location. On the beach, it has an amazing view. It is also close enough to all of the restaurants and bars. No need for a car or golf cart unless you want to travel out of town. We have visited multiple beaches north and south of there. This is a place that we would chose hands down. We like a chill environment with good bars and restaurants in walking distance. This is it!

My husband and I took our first family vacation with our 2.5 year old son, and Pedro's home was the perfect family-friendly location. First, the home itself felt even nicer than shown in the pictures. The home was spotless, spacious, and included everything we needed for our stay. Our toddler was delighted by all of the beach and pool toys on the property, and the pool has a large shallow ledge that made swimming much more accessible to him. The pool was cleaned every morning by the groundskeeper who was very friendly. The property is fully gated, and we felt safe and comfortable knowing that Pedro and his wife lived on the third floor, and the groundskeeper also lived on the property. That said, our stay still felt private. The location and views simply cannot be beat. Each evening, the sun sets directly in front of the property over the ocean. Playa Hermosa as a whole was quiet, calm, and welcoming, and I'd argue that Pedro's home is the best property there.

What a spot for a vacation! The location was prime and the room itself was well suited for everything you need. This is a hidden gem in the area. Things I appreciated the most: The ocean was steps away for a swim at anytime. The shop keepers and restaurant owners downstairs are great people and pleasant to talk to during your stay. Waffle monkey (breakfast) and Portofino are the best spots for breakfast, fresh seafood, low cost happy hours, and fire show at night during sunset. You can literally walk anywhere in minutes. There is 3 separate door with locks to get to your top floor rental so this spot is very safe! If you are lucky, you'll notice a 5 foot iguana that rests in the trees to your right off the porch, spending days in the trees. Alvaro is the mgmt person who helps you. He speaks great English and responds rapidly to questions. Can't wait to return and bring family. The two units next to each other would be an ideal joint rental for a group of 5-7 people. Highly recommend!!!

The stay at the accommodation was excellent, the place was clean, comfortable and the host was very attentive and friendly. As for the location, it made me feel a little insecure at first, probably due to personal perception. However, we had no problems during our stay.

Would 100% stay here again. Wow the view is stunning. Beds were comfy, ac worked well. Access to the beach right there, pool was nice. Great place and nice neighbors. Had a window blind that was broken when we showed up and management came and took care of it immediately. Beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and some pool toys were in the closet which we thoroughly enjoyed!! We stayed here on NYE and were able to see fireworks all around sitting on the beach, fantastic way to ring in the new year. Great stay!

This place was outstanding! One of the best locations in Playa Langosta. Antonio, the caretaker, was one of the most thoughtful and caring people we met our whole month traveling around Costa Rica. He made sure we had everything we needed and we left feeling like family. He will make your stay extra special!

Our stay at Amber Lynn's place was absolutely fantastic! The condo was even better than the photos, we had zero complaints and Amber Lynn was a great host. The kitchen was so well stocked- lots of spices, oil, vinegars, etc, and a wide variety of pots and pans and cooking utensils. There was even very sharp knives! I've never stayed at an Airbnb with such a usable kitchen. The beds were clean, well made and both had lots of pillows. The linen closet was also well stocked with tons of towels (and beach towels) available. It was so great to have use of the beach chairs, sun umbrella, and cooler bag- that made our beach trips really easy. We cannot say enough good things about the location! There is a large balcony that has a perfect view of the sunset. The condo is sort of at the end of the beach in a location that is very quiet and peaceful. The pool was absolutely perfect. There was rarely anyone else in it while we were there and the residents that we did see were very friendly.

Excellent accommodation, very safe and tidy, 100% recommended, everything impeccable and very well equipped, a/c excellent and wifi too, I hope to return soon

Beach front in Playa Potrero! One of four ground level units in condo. The pool and grass lawn are wonderful. The long black sand beach has baseball size and smaller rocks in the surf, but there aren’t any large rock structures in the area the waves crash. At high tide only sand is in the crashing waves. The unit has quality furniture and cookware. The grill is cleaned daily as well as general cleaning and maintenance of the common grounds. Eating out in the area is very pricey. The condo has the kitchen and outdoor gas grill to stop at the Walmart or Costco in Liberia for groceries and use the nearby San Martin Butcher for wonderful family meals!

Great place with an amazing view! Host was always in contact and very responsive. We enjoyed our stay, it extended our expectations.

Out family couldnt say enough great things about the host and the home. They went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Our 7 member adult family had plenty to do, great recommendations from the host. Extra accommodations when asked. House was beautiful and clean. We engaged them throughout the trip and we felt like VIPs on the complex. I highly recommend this host and property. We are looking forward to a return trip in the near future!!

The best review I can give is that is is a place I would stay at again and this Airbnb is one of those. The house was beautiful, the views fantastic, the location was close to everything we needed and the host, Lia, went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable. She had groceries delivered since we were arriving later in the day. Her recommendations on local spots were right on and she arranged a chef to cook for us on our last night and the meal was wonderful ( highly recommend it), Like I said, I can hardly wait until our next visit.

This place was truly amazing. The house has a beautiful ocean view and was very comfortable. All the AC units worked well, which was welcomed on the hot nights. We also enjoyed the pool to cool off on hot days and the hammocks to relax after a long day! The house was very clean and secure, and the WiFi was very fast which was welcomed for movie nights. I appreciated the extra neighborhood security, they were very nice and we felt safe. Crystal was very responsive and detailed in instructions for arrival and departure. The one thing I might recommend, is adding a few beach chairs to take down to playa Negra! Thanks again Crystal, we will certainly be back!

Not much to add beyond the countless rave reviews here. The restorative and serene view and location is obviously the best quality, but the condo itself is comfortable and offers all the comforts of home as well. We loved the empty beach, the sound of the surf, and the cackle of the tropical birds. If you want crowds and traffic jams, head to Tamarindo. If you yearn for quiet and a vintage Costan Rican experience, I recommend without hesitation.

Amazing Family Vacation at Playa Flamingo! Our stay at Cody and Anna’s wonderful Airbnb in Playa Flamingo was truly unforgettable. The property is perfect for families—spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. My three teens loved the nearby beache and all the fun activities, while I appreciated the peaceful surroundings and beautiful ocean. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially with his awesome guidebook. They made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this awesome place for anyone looking for a relaxing, fun and family-friendly getaway in Costa Rica. We can't wait to return!

Brandon’s place was exceptionally beautiful. Our family really enjoyed our stay. The pool table got a lot of use! The views from the balcony were stunning. I would argue that these were the best sunset views in the entire town! The front balcony offered sunrise views as well! We spent most of our time on the rear balcony, enjoying those views. It was clean, easy self check in and the property manager Allen was very responsive and helpful in setting up excursions! We wished we could have stayed another week! Ron’s condo was exactly what we were hoping it would be - relaxing, quiet and in close proximity to all the amenities we were looking for. We ventured out to Playa Flamingo and Playa Prieta (absolutely stunning and secluded) and although both were beautiful, the beach right out front of the condo remained our favorite. Ron was a fantastic host and the permanent residents at the condos were welcoming and friendly. Oh and the air conditioning is fantastic.

We love going to Reserva Conchal and Daphne's place had everything we wanted, from plenty of bedrooms, to a great location and view overlooking the golf course. Once inside the reserve, we had access to both The Westin and The W and all the amenities they had to offer. Great place to spend a weekend.

Beautiful apartment with everything you need.

Wonderful view of the water from the moment you walk in the front door! We didn’t get tired of looking at the water or listening to the waves on the large deck. We traveled with another couple and there was plenty of space for everyone. Although we didn’t cook in, it appeared there were ample plates, silverware, cooking utensils, pans, etc. There was a coffee maker, microwave and a blender, but no toaster. The beds in all rooms were firm. The white sand beach in Flamingo is beautiful and my favorite in Costa Rica. The town of Flamingo has several restaurants/bars and the Flamingo marina is also very close. You can walk to the beach, restaurants/bars and marina, but the condo is up a steep hill. We elected to rent a golf cart and were also able to see Potrero and Brasilito. I loved the location of the condo and we had a great time.
