had a beautiful stay - very functional space and plenty of room for a family of 4. Pool was a bonus and it was helpful having such a responsive host with great recommendations.

This home was perfect for our group of six! The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were beautiful as well. Being able to do laundry was super helpful given we are traveling for two weeks with carry ons only. The host was very responsive and helpful during our whole stay! During our three night stay we easily got to see three beaches in the area! The only downside to this was the drive in to the property. While the home is in a gated community the drive there is through and underdeveloped area of guanacaste with unpaved roads with huge potholes. We had 4 wheel drive so it wasn’t a huge deal. This stay was still definitely worth the price!

The view is absolutely amazing! The villa has all the amenities you’ll want and is very safe with two gates, alarm system and security cameras. The sounds of the jungle and the wildlife are very present. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you don’t mind driving 20 min to Tamarindo and seeing a few bugs, this is the best Airbnb to rent! The host is very nice and responsive. Would definitely go back!

Our stay here was flawless. They had a really beautiful location with ample rooms. My only suggestion would be that in the master room. There would be more sink counter space as it was a little difficult to get ready and just a full length mirror because all the other rooms had it on the closets and we only had shelves but other than that we had a great time and the hose was super responsive with an issue that was going on in the grill and I really appreciated thatI would go back

We loved our stay at Kaya Villas and will definitely be back. Beds were very comfortable, the grounds beautiful and private, and close to great food and the ocean. We loved having Plays Avellanas as our home base and honestly didn’t feel the need to stray too far. Went to Tamarindo one afternoon and then to Playa Grande several times as well. Our host was super welcoming and helpful as well. 10/10!

You won’t regret booking The Palms! A private, quiet retreat that was upscale and away from the hustle and bustle and party scene of some of the other Pacific Costa Rican beach towns. As a family of 5 with 3 kids ranging from 8-13 yrs old, the size of the condo was great, the kids enjoyed swimming in the waves at the beach, boogie boarding, and playing in the infinity pool with stunning beach views and sunsets. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was very attentive and kind. The bartender made me a drink off menu simply because I asked for something “uniquely Costa Rican!” The condo itself was well-stocked with staples to make for such a convenient stay. It’s even better than we imagined. There was a hiccup at check-in which caused some stress and a maintenance issue, but the Palms and host quickly made things right which was very appreciated.

I truly cannot say enough about both our incredible hosts and the beautiful home. Nathalie was the most amazing host. Responsive, helpful, proactive with recommendations, assisted with all of our needs, and was just an incredibly kind human. As for the home, truly, the pictures do not do it justice. Probably one of the, if not the most gorgeous place I've ever stayed. I'm so grateful for our time at Casa Bö.

Great views. The top of the world pool within the community has unbelievable views at sunset. You’ll need to drive a little ways to get to many of the beaches but there are lots of options. House was comfortable and worked great for large group.

Casa Serendipity was pure magic for our family. As a wellness practitioner and mama of two little ones, I’ve stayed in many places—but this was truly a sanctuary. Mariela is the most incredible host—like a 24/7 concierge angel. From airport pick-up, car rental, grocery tips, to curated local gems—she thought of everything. The home is stunning, spacious, and incredibly private, yet perfectly located to easily explore the best beaches, restaurants, and adventures. We woke to birdsong, made meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged by the pool, and even picked fresh mangoes. It was peaceful, secure, and deeply nourishing. Every detail supported ease and connection. After full days exploring, it felt like coming home to serenity. I would stay here every time—we’re already dreaming of our return. Mariela, thank you for creating this heart-centered haven. Everything you expect. Great home, great host. Very clean, nice pool. Excellent communication. Only the surf teacher that was recomended wasn’t that good but that’s not on the host in my opinion.

We really enjoyed our 6 day stay at Casa La Reina! The hosts were extremely friendly and easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and our entire stay. They helped us arrange an excursion, groceries, and meals for the week. When we arrived, we were greeted by the hosts who helped show us the property and all the features. At this time we also paid for all of our groceries for the week, which were stocked in the fridge/pantry. They even had welcome snacks and drinks prepared for us when we arrived! The house is about 15 minutes from downtown Tamarindo on a gravel road. The road is fairly easy to navigate, the last part being a steep hill up to the house. We had a small SUV (Rav4) and had no issues traversing the roads. The house felt very secluded, safe and private. The house was also very well kept and had an amazing view from the deck/pool area! We had a total of 4 people (2 couples) and felt we had plenty of space and privacy while here. We would highly recommend!

After relocating from a disappointing rental, we struck gold with Casa Ruby! While our previous place lacked essentials and a safe pool, this home was perfect for our group (2 couples, 3 kids). The unique layout gave everyone their own bedroom and bathroom - a luxury when traveling with family. The stunning pool was immaculate with plenty of toys. We loved the outdoor space for morning coffee and the convenient BBQ and outdoor fridge for poolside drinks. The recent renovations show in every detail - luxe furnishings and incredibly comfortable beds with hotel-quality linens made sleeping heavenly. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the living room offered games and a TV. Location is ideal - 8-minute walk to the night market and Little Lucha's amazing tacos, 15 minutes to the beach (or $4 Uber). Thank you Fernando and Valerie for sharing your hidden gem. Truly a dream home away from home - we hope to return!

This Airbnb was perfect for 2 families (4 adults and 3 children from 4-6 years old). The short walk to the beach, Dante’s Rock, restaurants, surf rental, yoga and little shops within minutes was exactly what we had searched and hoped for! We were very grateful for the beach equipment (chairs, sun shades, boogie boards, umbrella, cooler and wagon). The house was very clean, with excellent A/C throughout and beautiful from top to bottom! Top notch appliances & well equipped for cooking. Netflix was great for the kiddos. The warm welcome and package was very appreciated. We felt very safe at all times, thank you for the added security! The pool and private outdoor area with shower, powder room and kitchen were a huge plus! 15 minute drive to a 24h urgent care and grocery store. We had homie chef come and cook for us, a must! Perfect 50th Birthday Girls’ Getaway! We recently stayed at this incredible vacation home to celebrate our 50th birthdays — 8 girls, one unforgettable trip! The entire property was absolutely stunning. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the pool was perfect for lounging and laughing, and the villas were quiet, clean, and beyond comfortable. The beds felt like heaven after long days of fun in the sun! We especially loved the open-air showers and the outdoor showers — such a luxurious and relaxing touch. Jason and Kathy were phenomenal hosts. They messaged us almost every day with thoughtful recommendations for excursions, restaurants, and local gems. Their friendliness and attention to detail truly made the experience even more special. Everything about our stay was amazing and exceeded expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting or hosts. Highly, highly recommend!

Our family of five thoroughly enjoyed our time at Bahia Pez Vela, Villa 10. The house is lovely and the view breathtaking. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the view. We really enjoyed having the beautiful black sand beach just a few steps away, as well as the pool and restaurant right next door. The restaurant on the property Soluna Beach Bistro has many delicious options and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed checking out some of the restaurants in Ocotal Beach, which is just 5 minutes away. Don't miss out on Father Rooster's. Take advantage of the the wonderful massage and facials available at the resort, which we were able to get on our patio. Also, make sure to enjoy the kayak rentals and you can also have jet ski rentals brought to the private beach. Thank you Alvin and we look forward to visiting again someday. I long to be back there already!

Patricia’s home was precisely what our group was looking for in Costa Rica—spacious enough for 9 people (including two couples), private and safe, full of amenities look cooking supplies, and responsive hosts. Patricia and Susan were more responsive than any host I’ve ever stayed with. They messaged us on Airbnb and other apps for ease of communication, and check-in, which was a breeze, included a tour with the property manager. They also connected us with the most trustworthy, affordable, high-quality transportation and tour company. The property was safe, well air conditioned, comfortable, and easily accessible. This was just what we were looking for - Peace and quiet with a beautiful view. The condo had everything we needed and more. One of the best stocked places we've stayed in with plenty of towels, paper supplies, kitchen supplies - everything except washclothes! Bring a few if you use them like we do. Furniture and beds were comfortable. Loved having our own private pool. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The property was exactly as described clean, comfortable, and very close to the ocean. Excellent place and service from Jorge. The place is very quiet and safe. The accommodation is very nice to enjoy the pool or a family barbecue. Jorge was always available for any needs. There are a variety of beaches that are close to the place or even if the river on route 911 is low you can reach the beaches of the Gulf of Papagayo in a short time.

No words to describe how happy I am with our stay. Absolutely phenomenal. The best Airbnb I have rented out in general. Marie and Sara were both extremely responsive and super friendly. Our entire experience was lovely! Erik’s house comes with a house helper, and she made us breakfast daily. Rosa was a delight and we loved her. Erik was always so responsive and quick to get back to me. The house was clean and in a great location - far enough away from downtown to be quiet, but easy to get to by Uber. Our group would stay here again!
