Wonderful homestay

We enjoyed our time staying at Kadek's place during our trip to Ubud. He is friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome. The place was comfortable in a good location. Getting around was easy. The house was in a beautiful traditional setting which was nice. Breakfast was included which was nice to have while enjoying a view of the greenery next to the outdoor area. I would recommend staying here.

Amazing stay the accommodation is gorgeous between the pool and the nature. Also loved how close it was to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Our only struggle was with the bathroom where the water seemed to spill into the entire bathroom and then the whole room would be like slightly wet. Besides that staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay overall

Wow. What a lovely place. With all the accommodations available in Bali, it’s hard to decide. I’m so happy with Cloud Nine. The service, people, communication, location, surroundings - it was pure bliss. With only 5 villas - you felt known by the staff and well looked after. I am so excited to return! Warren is a very nice host, he is friendly, and very helpful if you want to learn more about this part of Bali. His family is also very kind. You get a very nice jungle experience at this place. You have beautiful nature and also very incredible waterfalls!

Thanks Udi for having me at your place. It was so beautiful and I cannot wait to book it again. It was just what I needed for a peaceful couple of nights in Ubud. There are cafe’s, spas and marts in walking distance as well as restaurants. The breakfast was perfect, everyone was polite and helpful and very welcoming. It is just outside of the main part of Ubud which you need to get transport to get to. Luckily there’s a taxi bay right outside Udi’s place. Thanks again

I had a wonderful and peaceful stay. The bed was so comfortable, the room overall so comfortable and WiFi worked perfectly. The shower was a little hard to regulate temp sometimes but not any major issue at all. Great pool. Extremely welcoming and accommodating staff - a huge thanks to Suci who made sure I was comfortable and gave me fantastic recommendations. I mostly walked (about 15 mins) to get coffee at Livingstones (great, buzzing, popular place for coffee and food) or otherwise got a taxi bike as it is a little bit of a walk to get to the main areas - but again - no issue at all. The hotel is just lovely. Felt right at home. Actually missed it from my next hotel I went to and almost went back! Great stay!!

It's very beautiful and quiet here! You can totally experience the charm of Ubud here and very happy to spend two cozy days here! But you have to get used to all the insects and geckos here and the biggest problem here is that the showers often have no hot water! I think this is a much needed change!

I absolutely adored my stay here—the ArtVilla is just beautiful, so thoughtfully designed with stunning details everywhere. The surroundings with the little pond, pool, and lush greenery is so peaceful and feels like a little oasis. The bed was super comfortable, and both the room and bathroom were clean and again, so beautiful. The place is a one minute walk from Alchemy, and a slightly longer walk or quick scooter ride from central Ubud. This was truly one of my favourite spots I stayed in during my trip, and I will undoubtedly come back here for my next visit. 12/10 recommend! :)

Direkt am Keramas Strand, sehr ruhige und gepflegte sowie schöne Anlage, zuvorkommende und hilfsbereite Mitabeitende. Der Pool top, da man Längen schwimmen kann. Zum Relaxen ein toller Ort! Restaurant oder Warung kann man zu Fuss am Strand entlang erreichen. Was wir zu wenig beachteten: Man kann am Strand nicht baden, die Strömung ist zu stark. Das Müllproblem halt auch hier sichtbar. Hatten wir eine Frage, bekamen wir sehr rasch Antwort oder Tipps. Den Tagesausflug können wir nur weiterempfehlen, Agung hat uns zu vielen verschiedenen Orten hingefahren, damit wir Balis Kultur entdecken konnten. Wir kommen gerne wieder - sobald wir surfen können ;-) - haben uns rasch wohlgefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen.

My husband and I had a very good experience in Bali and especially at his accommodation. The place was perfect, a very convenient location & nicely tucked away from the business of Seminyak. Dicky gave good recommendations on where to visit, eat and do in Bali. He spoke confidently with a really good command of English, he made us feel so welcomed and at home at a foreign country. We are thankful for Dicky’s accommodation and friendship forged! Hope to stay at his place again soon :)

Podpadi is amazing, my only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer! The hotel is a beautiful and modern space, the room was clean and king sized bed was comfortable. The private plunge pool was a great place for a morning dip and the larger pool was a nice place to hang out during the day. Breakfast was delicious and we had it floating in the pool everyday for no extra charge. The staff are very friendly and attentive and special thanks to the manger, Made, who went out of his way to ensure we were taken care of during our stay. Highly recommend!

The place was magical and Maria was an amazing host. I got sick one day after an energy healing session and she went out of her way to look after me and surprised me with medicine, banana, book and more water. As a solo traveller, that was much appreciated. I didn’t use the pool or kitchen area but it looked lovely and as described in the profile. The room was very comfortable, the air con great, and the shower had great pressure and hot water. Overall 10/10 and highly recommended! Thanks again Maria.

I had an amazing stay at Casa Art Ubud! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality that made me feel at home. The hotel is beautifully designed, blending modern aesthetics with Balinese charm. Every corner feels thoughtfully curated, and the attention to detail is impressive. The room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a cozy bed and a lovely balcony to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The pool area is stunning, perfect for a relaxing dip after a day of exploring Ubud. Breakfast was a highlight—beautifully presented and delicious, served by the pool in a tranquil setting. The staff was exceptional, always ready to assist with a smile, making sure my stay was perfect. The location is slightly outside central Ubud, but that only adds to the peaceful and private atmosphere.

The place is quite unique and magical. We loved the design and jungle view, sounds. The stuff is very helpful, there is daily cleaning, change of towels on demand. There is AC, toothbrush, toiletries. Very quiet, we could take part in yoga class, use sauna or flower bath - for extra fee. A note: this room had windows with holes, for those who don’t like to feel the wind (or with cold) might be unpleasant. We had a wonderful experience and would come back if had a chance!

I stayed for 2 nights at the Asmara Villa with a private pool inside Samanvaya Luxury Resort and wow… what an experience! I’ve been visiting Bali for the past 5 years, and I can confidently say that Samanvaya is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. Everything looks and feel high quality and brand new, and the attention to detail is amazing. Makes you feel immerse in the local culture. One of our favorite spots were the Bathtub, pool and the living room area. Sidemen is 100% worth visiting—the peace and tranquility you feel here is something you don’t find in many places in Bali. The locals are incredibly friendly, and the culture here feels like the true essence of Bali. A huge thanks to Ari, Purna, Tami, and Diah for making my stay even more special. I really hope to come back soon!

This was the most beautifully designed and spacious room I stayed in all of Bali AND it’s in the best location - Perenenaan, close to great restaurants and shops. My only issue was all the construction - 2 different sites at all hours of the days and nights. There’s nothing they could do about it and I did my best to drown it out with earplugs and my own music but it definitely made it less enjoyable to be there. Overall the walls are quite thin so even loud late night neighbors I could hear from my bed.

Die Unterkunft ist wirklich wunderschön. Aussicht auf einen kleinen Teich und die Berge. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut und alles war sauber. Das Personal war sehr nett. Wir würden diese Unterkunft ohne Bedenken weiterempfehlen.

Wir hatten einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt. Das Personal war sehr lieb. Sie haben auch sehr viele Aktivitäten angeboten. Das einzige was nicht ganz so gut war, war der Laundy Service, da die Wäsche ein bisschen gestunken hat und es etwas teuer war. Wir würden trotzdem immer gerne wieder kommen.
