This was our second time staying here and our family had the best time! The lake views were absolutely beautiful—we loved waking up to the peaceful water every morning. The kids had a blast paddle boarding, while we were fishing and able to catch a few! The weather was perfect. We got to enjoy the fireplace and made s’mores in the evening. It felt like the perfect mix of outdoor activities and relaxation. The home is always clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. It was such a fun, memorable trip for our whole family. We’re looking forward to coming back for our next family getaway.

This House was more than expected. Very clean and spacious. We were extremely comfortable in this home. The location was perfect for our travel needs. And the view!!!! Beautiful waterfront location. We could not have asked for better accomodations. We will definitely use this home again. Kudos to the owners. Great experience.

Uma and Balu’s home was perfect. There was plenty of space for our group and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We brought kayaks, in addition to one Uma and Balu let us use, and kayaked the lake each morning. We will definitely be back!!

A very lovely home with lots of space and VERY child friendly (literally thought of everything! Nice bedrooms for couples. Nice size beds with 2 of the beds having memory foam if that’s your thing. Very clean, would recommend

The house was everything you could need with plenty of space and extra common areas. The theater room was great to get the kids to settle down at night and a separate office allowed for a quiet area to get some work done.

This stay was everything I hoped for and more. The space looked exactly like the photos! super cozy, impeccably clean (seriously, top-tier cleanliness), and had such a calm, serene energy that made it easy to unwind. Sarah was an absolute gem; friendly, responsive, and so easy to communicate with. And that view? The perfect cherry on top. I’d definitely stay here again without hesitation!

Hackberry hideaway was the perfect home for our family trip, we felt right at home, the home was clean, in a nice quiet neighborhood, very spacious, close to shopping and restaraunts. Keith was great quick at responding, very helpful with providing information on shopping, restaraunts and surrounding attractions to visit. Would definitely stay again on our next family trip.

We stayed here with friends and it was perfect! We had such a wonderful time and there was a lot to do. Our children loved the game table and the backyard fire pit was great! We felt safe and comfortable. The lake nearby was beautiful as well. It was close to all the things we were looking to do as well. The host was friendly and responsive. And the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a great stay!

Not too far from downtown Dallas, food and stores are a 5 minute drive from the house. Has a room in the back with foosball which we liked.

The place was amazing, so affordable, and all the amenities were as described. It’s a lovely place, with a very cozy and accommodating feel to it. The price is extremely fair for how beautiful a location it is, and even better the host really helps you to enjoy your stay with as little “chores” to do as possible. Their insistence that chores aren’t for vacation are well appreciated! They were courteous and responsive, and very accommodating with any requests we had. They also left plenty of towels, toiletries, plates, napkins and more. Enough for my full group of 12 to not need to request restocks. It was a 10/10 experience and I look forward to staying again if I’m ever in the area

We stayed in this home in April 2025 and the hosts were wonderful. The home was clean and well stocked for our family of 6. The only bummer was we didn't get to use the backyard oasis due to Texas weather. We did use the hot tub quite a bit but it was too chilly for the pool. The hosts were always very responsive and friendly.

This house truly felt like a home! Case thought of everything—extra salt/pepper, coffee creamer, even yard games and pool toys. Our family enjoyed having dinner in the backyard and listening to the birds. We would stay here again!

Amazing house and amenities! I came down for my bachelor party and there were several amazing golf courses to choose from within 20 minutes. Half of my group didn’t golf but they were able to find Oasis Pickleball club to spend their time. The house is very convenient for groceries and restaurants and they have amenities that appeal to all ages at their house! I would definitely want to stay here if I visited the area in the future!

This house is in a neighborhood full of character. You have a private drive and a really big back yard. The home is cozy with a mixture of antiques and modern furniture. A nice place to work from if you need to work. If you travel with your dog, this is the place. Nice restaurants and plenty of coffee shops nearby as well.
