A little corner of paradise

We had a great short stay as a family (2 adults and 3 children). The house is nestled in a green setting, and has a breathtaking view of the valley, which was fabulous when we wanted to relax in the garden, or simply in the living room (large bay windows offer a panorama from the living room)! We immediately loved the place, which is not just a house, but also has a good atmosphere, beautiful books, CDs, and even a piano! The children greatly enjoyed the peaceful pleasure of the horses, which made them very happy. We were able to enjoy magnificent walks in the surroundings (hiking departures at the gate!) and also discovered the fascinating museum of the mine of Monceau les Mines that we recommend! (guided tour by a passionate former miner). We will definitely come back to continue exploring this beautiful region.

Jitske and Matthew have a beautiful estate. We really respect the way they have renovated and furnished their guest houses with an eye for detail and beautiful antique furniture. It is an oasis of peace, where you will be warmly welcomed. It was a pity that we had only booked for 1 night because we were on the return trip from our holiday. Highly recommended, because the surroundings are also beautiful!

Perfect stay for me, I was able to hike from the trailer in the ''county''. Peaceful and beautiful landscapes. A need to disconnect me satisfied. With the advantage, too,a rediscovery of the farm . Charlene is very welcoming, warm, good discussion and attentive to needs . Quick access to amenities, shops and city center 5 minutes away and departmental access 2 minutes to the Saône et Loire or Nièvre. I'm leaving refreshed from my stay and can't wait to come back ❤️
