Connection with nature and recovery from balance

3 km from Cunha, in an area of natural regeneration of the Atlantic Forest, is the site. I designed a house in a typical rural environment to share with visitors. It has a bedroom with double bed, a living room with sofa bed, a common bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen, with wood stove for the typical meals of the countryside. The site is 40 km from Paraty, a colonial city listed by the historical heritage. In the region it is possible to visit waterfalls and do trails in an area of environmental preservation.

Cabana Pitanguá is one of the Cabanas do Alto, a refuge in Serra da Bocaina. Located within a condominium of small farms, with easy access by the road connecting Cunha to Paraty. We are 10 km from the center of Cunha and next to Lavandário. The Cabanas do Alto are A-Frame style and were built on the highest part of the terrain, overlooking Serra da Mantiqueira, Serra Fina, Pico dos Marins and Pico Itaguaré. You can walk around the grounds, explore the landscape and listen to the birds chirping.

Bali Cottage in the Mountain Park

This is a charming cottage, with stepping stones over a pond to the main door, rustic brick floors and wood. It has a big round table, living room with 1 single and one double bed, and a small kitchen. There is a bedroom with an office, full bathroom, bathtube, open closet. A sliding door opens to a covered patio w/ full stove. There is another full suite that opens to the back patio. IMPORTANT: announced price covers 2 guests. An extra charge of R$30,00/night per additional guest applies.

A cozy suite in Cunha

16 m² suite (4.5 m² bathroom). Breakfast: we provide an outdoor kitchen with the basics for a good breakfast: coffee powder, milk, sugar, sweetener, fruits, butter, jam and bread made by Harumi's sister. As the kitchen is fully equipped, feel free to use it whenever you want, but please: use it, wash it and put it away. I did a little renovation when I needed to remove the doormat (seen in the 1st photo). I redesigned it, but it will take some time to return to the exuberance of the photos.

Casa Mugango is in Cunha, in the district of Campos Novos, about 25 km from the centre, with 19 km of paved roads! It's a place in the rural area with perfect internet for working from home. It's a refuge from the hustle and bustle, a calm environment close to nature and country life. The house is surrounded by fragments of forest. Wild animals, insects, spiders and frogs can be found, even with periodic dedetizations. During the rainy season, we recommend a 4x4 vehicle!
