Small, rustic cabin in the woods behind our home. The cabin has electricity, but no running water. Drinking and cooking water are provided from a hand pumped container. The cabin is a beautiful place to slow down, connect to nature and one's self. If you love to camp, you will love the cabin. It is the perfect locale for a personal retreat. We are happy to arrange a yoga class at our home studio as well. It is like a tree house, where all are welcome to come, simplify life and just be.
“Stacey's cabin on her family's property is a wonderfully simple and secluded cabin surrounded by tall trees. The wood stove kept things toasty, the airy living space is beautiful and peaceful. The cabin is at the edge of the forest about 100 feet behind the house and garden. The surrounding area is quiet, beautiful--gravel paths up and down wooded hills, orchards, old stone homesteads and weathered barns. The nearby Old Creamery coop is absolutely fantastic. I pulled up to the house and Stacey was out boiling sap from their sugar maples, and she sent me off with a fresh jar of the most rich, dark maple syrup. I came for just one night to get away from the city and real life, and I was very happy.”
The Deer Hill House was built in 1832 as a hotel. It has been an inn, dance hall, and cafe. Now it is four separate apartments under one roof. The house is located on a quiet country road with a river across the street, Deer Hill behind the house, and a large open yard. This spacious, sunlit, first-floor, one bedroom apartment provides a comfortable home base for your adventures. instargram @deerhillhouse Berkshire Trail 2 min Notchview 7 min Windsor Jams 10 min Lenox 35 min Northampton 40 min
“We stayed at Christine's place for a night amidst a quick Fall getaway. This was the perfect place to lay our heads after a busy day of sightseeing around the Mt Greylock. The apartment is cozy and comfortable with lots of homey touches like warm fuzzy throw blankets and boardgames. The space was spotless, and the bed incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect for enjoying the Berkshires and Pioneer Valley, and Christine was very helpful with recommendations for sightseeing (Chesterfield Gorge was beautiful!). Would definitely recommend and we are looking forward to coming back for a longer stay!”

“Located in a beautiful town this place is exactly as described and more. Our host was kind check in and say a quick hello! The place was sparkling clean and had little loving touches of welcome that I will leave unlisted so you too may be surprised as we were! Soft towels, lovely lotions and shampoo, a welcoming back porch, comfortable bed and crisp linens, and fresh ground coffee and cream left for us for our morning. The area is lovely for hiking and walking. The neighborhood is bustling yet the pad is quiet and serene. Thank you for a memorable stay!!”
