Holiday houses in Cucumber

Loved the cabin! Very remote and peaceful. The bed was super comfy and everything we needed was available. The trails are a little bit of a haul to get to but the directions left for us were very helpful, even with our tablet/maps. Wish there was a dining room table or maybe an island bar but we made do! Loved sitting in the front porch and out back by the fire pit. The best part was Josie, the sweet house cat. We will definitely miss her!!

Peggy’s place was nice and comfy. Perfect for our little family! She was a great host!!

Amazing place! Beautiful setting. Gorgeous A-frame cottage on a hill overlooking a lovely river. Stylishly decorated and well-appointed with many amenities. Feels both cabiny and contemporary at once. So peaceful and private! Lovely deck and balcony. You can feel yourself relax upon arriving. Really a paradise where we felt so comfortable! We will return.

Directions were right on. House was clean and suited our needs. Better than staying at a hotel.!

We absolutely loved this house! Had everything thing we needed and the fenced backyard was a plus! Very clean! Comfortable beds. We definitely want to come back and visit in the summer!

We initially planned to travel to Virginia but opted for an overnight stay in West Virginia to rest. We made a reservation and are pleased with our decision. The accommodations were beautiful, spacious, and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay.

Dave was great! Check-in was super easy, the place is very nice, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, and if you have questions he's very responsive. Would stay again!

My friends and I met at Anita’s place, it was perfectly located halfway between my home in South Carolina and my friend’s homes in Pennsylvania. Anita’s back to the fifties home was exactly what we were looking for. My friends and I try to get together every spring and every fall, and we will most likely return to Anita’s place in the future. We are all cat lovers, so Elvis and his friends the were an added bonus for us!! We also enjoyed watching deer, in the back yard in the evenings!! Loved reading about the history of the family and the home that was displayed throughout the home!! We had a fabulous time!

We had a quick night of sleep at Richard’s while traveling. It was extremely quiet, with beautiful country surroundings. The place was spotless. It would probably be a great area for a romantic getaway. As shown in photos!
