Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Alberto. Le logement est conforme à l'annonce. Il est à minutes du centre. Le petit déjeuner est excellent et nous avons même dîner un soir à la casa. Je recommande !

Lolita and Carlos are great hosts and very friendly, I thought they were very welcoming and really helped make my holiday special. Their house is not far from the local beach and not far from the beach resort of Vardero. Havana is about 2 hours away by car. The flat where my friends stayed (upstairs) is lovely, well laid out and modern, it is light and airy with all mod cons including kitchen, dining area and bathroom, it has 2 large double beds and is open plan - perfect for a family or two friends. There is also an upstairs veranda on the roof. WIFI access is available from there sometimes (WIFI access has to be bought for a small fee). The flat I stayed in downstairs is less modern but perfectly adequate for a stay in Cuba, it has one double bed. The flat is situated within a 5-7 minute walk to a lovely beach with white sands, with palm trees and generally very calm sea, as it is protected by a small rocky reef. The water was crystal clear and warm (visited early May) and there are plenty of fish to see by the reef. There are no facilities on the beach but there is an ice cream bar about 4 minutes walk away (not always open) and a cafe nearby the school facing the beach but we did not visit. Over the bridge about a 3 minute walk away from the house, you come to a little town, where you can go to the market and buy fruit, vegetables and also rice, (sometimes), there are also a few shops with a few basics. Lolita will do as much as she can to get something specific you might need. I would recommend that you dine at the house for the small extra fee, Lolita knows where to source foods, that are simply not available in Cuba (many shops are empty or have only canned goods) and makes lovely meals. For breakfast for example, we had fresh juices, fried eggs, or sandwiches with ham and cheese, a fruit salad, coffee with milk. There are no lemons in Cuba, only limes. In the evening, we had meals such as prawns in a sauce with rice, side salad of tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers and a desert. Hawkers peddle their wares along the road in the morning and evening and you can stop them and ask to buy, if you are interested. Lolita will do washing for you, again for an additional fee. If you are British, bring pounds, it is the best rate available. Euros are next and then US$ which have the worst rate and are charged an additional 10% fee. ATM did not work for my UK visa debit card, but I was able to go to an exchange kiosk at the airport and withdraw money via them using this card. The currency used in Cuba is the "Convertable Peso" or CUC, don't get this confused with the other type of money that only locals use and is worth 24 times less than the CUC. Traveling in Cuba can be expensive but try to negotiate the price, you will be travelling in a Cadillac from the 1950's or 60's with no seat belts or air conditioning but very colourful and novel! I even saw an old Austin! We were lucky enough to see the crab migration in the Bay of Pigs. Havana is great fun to visit, Varadero was about a 15 minute drive from our house where they have big hotels, some souvenir shops, chemist and restaurants. Go to Cuba and enjoy the lovely sun, beautiful sea, great nature and friendly people!

Mauro's place was as pictured and the house staff were always available, helpful, and friendly while also respecting your use of the space. The property is as pictured, but is in a more remote province of Havana that is not near the city center and does not have good access to taxis and local food options so you are forced to eat at the property or to pay the pricier prices of the surrounding seaside restaurants on the avenue. Taxis to good restaurants were a bit pricey and resulted in a not very budget friendly stay, although it was a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxing and private seaside oasis.

La estancia en casa de Antonio fue buena. A pesar de los problemas que existen con la falta de corriente eléctrica, él tiene las condiciones mínimas como por ejemplo ventilador de pie con batería. Lámpara recargable y solar.

Everything was fine stay here, very friendly and location was very close to beach.

La estancia en la casa de Alicia, fue fantástica. Muy cómoda la vivienda y su ubicación. Recomiendo este alojamiento porque es bastante tranquilo, íntimo y bien ubicado para poder hacer vida en trinidad. Además de que Alicia es encantadora.

Osvaldo y su familia fueron muy amables y acogedores. Estuvieron disponibles siempre que necesitábamos algo. Fue una experiencia increíble. Siempre comprobaré si su casa está disponible cuando vaya a Camagüey.

Thank you so much Dunia for your incredible and amazing hospitality. You made us feel nice and welcomed and at home with your friendliness and all you did to go above and beyond even when things were out of our hands. Your cafecito and directions to restaurants and things to do while there were awesome. Also, thank you for accommodating my special requests upon arrival. Your place really did feel like I was at home. Wish we could have stayed longer, but I’m sure we will be back and when we do, we can sit and enjoy more of your delish cafecito. Until next time!

Un lugar hermoso, armónico y super limpio, con una decoracion maravillosa. Sin duda el lugar es mucho mas bello fisicamente qué en las fotografías. Gema y Janeth super lindas y preocupadas por nosotros, hicieron la estancia aun mejor para nosotros y su desayuno ¡¡¡riquísimo!!! con una presentación qué parecía de alta cocina. Esta ubicado a un par de cuadras de la playa, por lo que puedes llegar caminando. Super recomendado!

Súper recomendable! Confort, todo en excelente estado y nuevo! Habitación cómoda y cama muy cómoda. Funcional, práctico y ubicación con respecto a la estación de ómnibus es muy cercana 5 cuadras. Y cercano a la playa. Si pudiese VOLVERÍA !

Tania était notre première location à Cuba. On avait pleins de questions avant notre arrivée. c’est Tania qui a réussi à dissiper toutes nos inquiétudes. Elle était la hôte parfaite qui nous a aidé avec tout, même avant notre voyage. Sans elle notre voyage à Cuba aurait été beaucoup plus difficile. Sa jolie et très grande maison est au bord de la mer et se trouve face au chenal du port. Les terrasses donnent directement sur la mer ! L’appartement avec deux chambres qu’on avait loué était très spacieux, propre et soigné. Juste à côté se trouve un petit restaurant vue mer elle aussi où on peut prendre son petit déjeuner si on veut. On peut laisser la voiture directement devant la maison, on peut se baigner et utiliser toutes les multiples terrasses pour se reposer. Un grand merci à Tania et Ramiro pour leur accueil! on va essayer de revenir. Je recommande vivement. Merci tania vous êtes une très belle personne.

Noel was so kind and helpful. We needed to rest after a harrowing experience of our own making in the ocean. His place was private, quiet and with the most delicious food we’ve had in Cuba. He arranged a comfortable ride to Baracoa with AC. Not easy in Cuba. Gracias Noel for everything. 💙🇨🇺

La casa está muy bien ubicada en el centro de Cienfuegos. Todo está muy limpio y renovado. El desayuno que nos ofrecían fue espectacular. Todo muy rico. 100% recomendado.

Maikel is an excellent host always available to help. Very nice view from the upper terrace. Excellent air conditioning and breakfast. Nothing could have been better! Maikel makes you feel at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Super. Chambre neuve idéalement placée la plus belle du séjour.Super accueil. Petit dej à 3ou ,4 cuc très copieux. Les hôtes sont très gentils ils m'ont gardé mes enfants car j'ai été hospitalisée. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés.

Wir haben uns in diser Casa sehr wohl gefühlt, wir wurden super nett empfangen und uns wurde tolle Ausflüge organisiert sodass wir nichts machen mussten. Das Frühstück für 5€ pro Person war super vor allem der Ausblick. Die Casa war supr sauber und guter Service. Man kann zu Fuß alles erreichen im Ort.

Je conseille fortement cette casa car à part les équipements, la propreté, la réactivité, Les et Arsenio et aussi Elena vous feront sentir comme si vous êtes chez vous! Ils partagent leur vie et sont très ouverts d esprit et attentifs à tout! Nous avons partagé aussi 1 soirée super avant le dîner et ensuite la discothèque dans 1 cave ! J avais été 'mangé ' par des petites bestioles 1 jour avant et Léa, comme si c était ma soeur, n A pas hésité à me prêter 1 pantalon long et à me donner des antistaminiques sans lesquels je n aurais pas pu dormir à cause de la réaction allergique que j avais fait aux morsures des 'hehen'... n hésitez pas à réserver chez eaux!

The location is very quiet but well connected to big avenues and restaurants. It is easy to get to and from well known locations. The place is roomy, clean and cozy. Love it. The host is a very friendly and approachable. She has very nice and well informed suggestions for everything. I highly recommend this place. I myself will try to book it again next time I go to Havana.

j'ai passé un excellent séjour à Trinidad chez Rosy, l'accueil été formidable et le logement impeccable, un petit déjeuner est proposé en supplément et franchement je vous le conseille, hâte d'y retourner à mon prochain séjour à Cuba
