Brilliant place to stay, beautiful views. Lovely host, Heather, great welcome and explained how everything worked, had book with local recommendations. So handy for Culzean Castle and local Ayrshire Coastline and not far from Ayr. Would highly recommend the Sheep Shacks Had a great time

From minute 1 of booking this amazing lodge David was extremely responsive and friendly. This gave us a warm idea of what was to come. Upon arrival we were then greeted by another very kind and welcoming lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) who shown us into the perfect cottage with extreme politeness. The lodge was filled with everything needed, hot tub was warm on arrival, TV was huge and could be rotated (can even face the hottub. This was a bonus for us as we are movie geeks 👍🏽 The kitchen was stunning and some essentials were provided that we actually forgot to bring (salt, pepper, oil). Cannot fault a single bit of the stay. Immaculate. The outside porch was tremendous too. It is closed off nice so that even when you’re in or out the hot tub you feel 0 draft. Upon leaving we spoke to 3 lovely ladies, 2 cleaners and 1 other lady who was also super lovely (sorry no names again). We very much enjoyed our time at the Teapot Cottage. The cottage was clean, modern and well decorated, and very close to the stunning Ennerdale Lake. We were impressed by the welcome basket, which was full of local cakes and breads! Though we didn’t use the pizza oven or barbecue, we did brave the hot tub (in December!) and it was well worth it. The cottage had everything we needed, and had a real cosy feel that was perfect for a Christmas break. We did have some issues with noise coming from the rental next door, however this was just bad luck. Lamissa was also very responsive and proactive, and did everything she could to address this. Overall, the Teapot Cottage is the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing break (with a little bit of luxury!). We would definitely come back.

This was stunning, the cottage looks exactly like the photos. Immaculate and finished to a really high standard. Kitchen facilities were excellent. Wood burner was perfect as it was cold during our stay. Great location for local walks, restaurants and supermarket. Great meal at the local pub. Hot tub was a delight after some long walks in the hills. Couldn't fault it, Catherine was a fantastic host!

Absolutely loved our stay in The Architects Loft! Everything was so well thought out, great design. Fantastic area, helpful hosts and the room was immaculate. 10/10!

We had a fantastic time at Rockliffe, helped by sunshine all day long for a week! The hosts, Julian and Theo were very friendly and helpful, they even showed us around their beautiful garden! The bungalow is fabulous, clearly been recently renovated, with excellent facilities, cooker, washing machine, plenty of hot water etc. The beds were very comfortable. There is an outside covered area at the back of the bungalow, completely safe and ideal for leaving bikes, shoes etc. There is a large garden to use, with table for al fresco dining, and lovely lawn with garden chairs, mainly for sun bathing for us! The beach is a short walk away, and it was great to cool off after long hot days! Dave

A lovely little cottage with incredible views. A great place to stay if you’re looking for a relaxing get away. Hot tub was brilliant, exactly what we needed. Check in and check out are super easy. Claire was fantastic responded to all our messages quickly. Would highly recommend this place. Would deffo go back in the future!!

Had a lovely couple of days here for my birthday- the cottage really feels like a home from home and there are lots of little extras which make the experience, such as games, paintings, pantry items and we loved watching the birds on the feeders - we saw wood peckers and a buzzard sat in the tree opposite. Adrienne is really responsive and made the experience really easy for us! Thanks again x
