Luxurious, romantic cottage with lake view

AbinayaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Loved our stay at their lake front property, Tarn End Cottage. Beautifully furnished and clean. Hosts were very responsive and they were too kind to provide a travel cot for the little one (we didn’t even insist in having one!). Electric charging facility at their car park is functional and we loved it! Private access to the lake was a bonus 😀

Yetlands Cottage

I booked this stay for my mum and her partner. They had nothing but great things to say. The location was great for what they wanted, with big lovely maintained gardens. They said Richard was lovely too when they met him. Thank you for making their stay great, they said they will be back :)

The Barn (4 guests / 2 beds) at Linden Farm House

Amanda and Joe's Airbnb is so spectacular! Lovely grounds, lots of little walks and places to explore. ideal location to access Penrith and the Lakes. The Airbnb itself is so cosy and pretty. Possibly the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in! Great hosts, very good at communicating and helped us out when we forgot a vital bit of equipment for our bikes 😁

Cosy Cumbrian Barn Conversion - The Old Farm House

JacominaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The Farmhouse was a wonderful place to stay. With off road parking for 2 cars, easy entry and plenty of space downstairs and upstairs. 3 double bedrooms (huge wardrobes), 2 bathrooms and a downstairs loo; huge wardrobes and plenty of space we wished we were staying longer. The kitchen was extremely well equipped; thanks for the wine and milk, and we felt very at home from arrival. Very easy to find and only a couple of minutes from the M6, yet off a local main road which is pretty quiet, especially at night so didn't disturb us. Seating front and back means you sit out in any sun, whatever the time of day. I'd love to be there in colder weather to be able to enjoy the fire and snuggling up on the sofa with the blankets and sheepskins - although I know it would be warm enough these wouldn't actually be needed! Mich was very helpful when I had questions in advance of booking. A real gem of a home and a place to return to.

Stayed for 1 night for a wedding close by. Only a few minutes walk away which was ideal. Katherine was very friendly and even let us check in early so we could get ready for the wedding. Homemade shortbreads and milk left in the fridge, which was a lovely touch. Perfect location for what we needed!

Secluded Woodland Cabin in North Cumbria

We had a lovely few days in our cabin! The cabin is spacious and has everything you need inside. Nice little area to sit out in with the dog as well. We brought a long line and tied it to the porch so our pup could explore round the cabin. Definitely recommend for a cosy weekend away

Couldn’t have asked for a better place. Spotlessly clean and felt like a five-star hotel, but with all the comfort of home. An absolute gem! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, luxurious stay that truly feels like a home away from home.

Big Bertha - 1973 Airstream caravan

Had a lovely bank holiday stay, we had a smooth arrival, and we were welcomed by Fiona. Lovely space to stay, loved the hot tub, and daughter loved toasting marshmallows on the fire pit, and exploring the river. Great place to have some quality family time. Thank-you.
