Marvel at the majestic Lake Superior in our "Tide" cabin. Situated on 165 ft of shoreline, enjoy stunning views with floor-to-ceiling windows where sounds of the waves meet the tranquility of the surrounding spruce trees. You’ll also notice the historic boat house built directly into the shoreline, a unique feature that adds to the cabin’s rich heritage. After a day of exploration, unwind in our mobile barrel sauna, offering a luxurious, yet rustic experience with panoramic views of the lake.

Nestled along 540ft of rocky beach, Inn Suite #5 provides spectacular views and sounds of Superior. This romantic, two story suite has a main level living room and well-equipped full-size kitchen plus an upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The living room features a private entry, wood fireplace, plush futon, dinette, and window seat. The bedroom has a cozy gas stove, luxurious queen bed, and spa soaking tub for 2. Inn Suite #5 sleeps up to 4 people (2 on the futon). 10% off for 3-6 night stays.

Welcome to Hawkweed House, your peaceful getaway in Grand Marais. The perfect place to explore and enjoy the North Shore, we are located 10 minutes from downtown Grand Marais on a quiet wooded 3 acre lot at the edge of a wildflower meadow. The whole house has recently been updated and remodeled and is filled with light and greenery and offers lots of privacy. This cozy home offers a balance of open common areas, private relaxation spaces, and outdoor spaces to enjoy during your visit.

Come and enjoy what was originally built for an artist’s studio and converted to a pet-friendly cozy living space. The studio is a spacious 800-sq ft open-concept layout with charming skylights in the kitchen and bathroom, and windows to overlook Lake Superior. We’re located on Croftville Road, which locals call the "Walkers Road" - quiet to traffic and perfect for a casual stroll. Our Little House is located just 3 short miles from beautiful down town Grand Marais. There are several stores where you can purchase supplies, a number of fun shops to meander through, good food, great coffee friendly people and of course, Beautiful Lake Superior! There are several hiking, biking, skiing and snowmobile trails as well as lakes for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. We are only 20 mi from Lutsen, and 3 from the North House Folk School to visit or take in a class.
