Our fourth stay here, the accomodation is perfect for our needs, we love the living space being upstairs, watching the ebb and flow of the estuary. Very comfy bed, spacious shower. Easy parking. Varied walks around Porthmadog, our favourite to Borth-y- Gest.

House was lovely with every facility you could think of. Bed were extremely comfy with great bedding. Place was spotless. Answered all messages very promptly and politely. Only slight problem we had was they gave us the wrong code to the key box however this was sorted within minutes of us phoning.

Wendy’s place was exactly what we needed for a nice few days relaxing and getting away from it all. A beautiful home in beautiful surroundings with everything you need.

This was the third year we have stayed here and, as previously, everything was straight-forward and worked very well. A great location for days on the beach and within easy walking distance of places to eat and the local pub. Ideal for our extended family with two young children and we will be looking to go again in the future. Host was friendly and accommodating, overall highly recommended.

Such a lovely cottage. So relaxing and spotless. Our family feel right at home there. The decor is lovely. We checked out the new Aldi which is only 5 mins away. Spent time in Abersoch and llanbedrog both beautiful beaches. Adam is so helpful letting us stay an extra night and gets back to us right away. We’ll be back! It’s our second time staying x

We spent 5 days in the half term with our two children and it was an ideal location for Snowdon and Zipworld. Cosy little house with all amenities required. Local Spa shop, plenty of takeaways and two pubs in the village. Would recommend.

Spent a week at Sam's house in Barmouth. Spotlessly clean, everything we needed was there, cleaning materials etc. provided. The hot tub was fantastic and used almost every day. Easy walk into Barmouth for my daughter and husband, and easy to park for me as I cannot walk very far at all. I only went to town to eat on a couple of occasions but others went most days, or just down to the beach, which was 5 minutes away. Easy to park right on beach just out of town for me, and benches on which I could sit and watch sea. Such a relaxing holiday for me, and made so easy by the house being great and all contact with Sam being friendly and helpful. Thanks so much Sam. Hope to see you again.

We had a great stay here. A lovely little lodge with everything needed to stay in and cook or bring food back. A helpful folder of recommendations was provided, and Tracey communicated with us very well. Everything was clean and tidy, and it was lovely to be able to use the hot tub while looking out onto the lake. Great location, only 5-minute drive into the town where there is shops, bars and takeaways. Nice and close to Snowdon and Zip World, which is why we were visiting. Nice personal touches, a pint of milk in the fridge when we arrived, some chocolate and even some Welsh cakes which we tried for the first time. Definitely would stay again if we were in the area.

I am very grateful for Carla's friendly and understanding attitude, we arrived after a midnight due to family emergency. Carla stayed up, checking on us, guided us to the place, we were met near the cabin and shown how to get in. A cabin was was tidy, clean, the heating was on, we found everything we need and had a good rest after a long drive. Thank you very much.

The farm was amazing and safe, the children loved feeding the animals in the morning, the swimming pool was great for a rain afternoon and the games room was so fun. The BBQ Sharon and her husband put on for the guest was a fabulous bonus, so generous and delicious. We will be coming back!!!

10/10 We had a 3 night stay as a couple, amazing service provided by both mark and his wife , friendly people , recommended local restaurant which myself and my partner really enjoyed , very attentive and had lots of knowledge about the site and surrounding areas , they visited everyday to ensure we were ok and to clean the hot tub, The lodge itself is pristine, great kitchen which included everything you need as well as tea , coffee, sugar, oil all great things which you can easily forget yourself! Bed was super comfortable, great size couch, smart TV, Big shower and clean bathroom, Visited an amazing local Indian restaurant recommended by mark and his wife which was a great addition, Plenty of car parking spaces , lovely neighbours. Hot tub was definitely a highlight , always very warm and clean , the lights with the hot tub is an amazing touch and looks beautiful at night. No complaints at all , 10/10 experience and will Definatly be coming back thank you - Hannah and Barny

We absolutely loved our stay here. A fantastic location within walking distance of the main activity area. Caravan was clean and comfortable with everything you need in a living space. Coffee machine, WiFi! Would 100% recommend and will definitely check availability of this caravan next time we look at visiting hafan y mor!

We had a great stay in Catrin’s cottage. The location was ideal for us - in a picturesque, quiet village, but within easy driving distance of Portmeirion, Harlech Castle, the Ffestiniog Railway and all of the other attractions in and around the Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park. There was also an excellent restaurant and pub (The Grapes) within a few minutes’ walk - Sunday lunch there was a particular highlight. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable, well designed and equipped with everything that we needed. The quirky design made the most of the available space, and the view of the Vale of Ffestiniog from the kitchen and bedroom windows was magnificent. The log burner was a bonus, especially as we ‘enjoyed’ some typical North Wales weather during our stay! Catrin was an excellent host, and the pre-check in information that she provided meant that we were able to find the cottage easily despite its secluded location. Overall highly recommended - we’d definitely stay again.

Had a lovely weekend break at Rosie’s property, the location was excellent just off the Rhyd Ddu path and in a lovely quaint quiet area. The cottage had everything you could ask for and was very clean and tidy, the hot tub being a lovely little touch. Had a really great experience from start to finish, Rosie was very helpful and the instructions provided were excellent. Would recommend to anyone contemplating!

We stayed at the luxury suite villas on the farm for three nights and absolutely loved it. The setting was peaceful and relaxing, with beautifully maintained grounds and a real sense of calm. The suite itself was well-equipped, with a lovely kitchen and a bathroom that included a jacuzzi—perfect for unwinding at the end of the day. The farm experience added a unique charm. We were given food to feed the animals, including friendly goats and lambs, which was a real treat—especially for anyone who enjoys a bit of nature and hands-on interaction. There are plenty of activities nearby, all within a 30 to 60-minute walk or a short drive. You can hike to scenic peaks to catch the sunset, or visit a nearby town and take a ride on an old train that feels like stepping back in time. We really enjoyed exploring the surroundings. Lovely remote accommodation, so peaceful & just what you need if you want to get away for a couple of days, Heulwen was very welcoming & friendly, he left us to it but was there if we needed anything, great host & we would recommend & definitely stay again.

We are just home from a lovely week. The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and our Cockapoo Billy! Just as described and has the most amazing shower (as you’ll see from other reviews, many agree!) Cottage is 5 mins from the bridge onto Anglesey so close to so many places, and roads in Wales seem so good! Just wish we had found the time to walk from the cottage to Plas Newydd. Would definitely recommend and Nina was a great host. Thank you for a lovely stay

Without a doubt the best air bnb we’ve stayed in. Loved the layout, was well equipped with everything we needed. Was so peaceful & private too. Most definitely be going back. Can’t wait.

We enjoyed our stay at Y Gorlan. Cosy space, very clean and ideal for easy access to the town. Fast WiFi and a comfy mattress.
