Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Craven County

Gabriela’s listing was right on and great for family of 6 close to family we were visiting very spacious great closet space just had everything you need that a hotel wouldn’t have . Any question I would have response was answered on a timely manner.

Fantastic place, really feels like a home and not a generic rental place. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance you could ever think of. The train running out front is great for kids (runs daytime on weekdays only). Beds are massive and comfortable, the house is well insulated and fairly soundproofed, and the side porch is great for coffee and people watching. Location is great, right on the edge of all the restaurants and bars with an open grassy area on one side and quiet neighbor on the other. Highly recommend!

Lisa’s place was great! It was cozy and the design was really well thought out. She had a lot of nice little touches and it was easy to feel right at home. The couches were so comfortable which made it super easy to relax. Lisa was really responsive to any questions we had. We would definitely recommend if you’re coming to Oriental!

Dena was very proactive and did a great job ensuring our stay was great. We appreciated her clean home and the clear instructions. The home was as pictured and had all the amenities to make a great comfortable stay. Location is great and the surrounding area has lots to do and see. Highly recommend!

Our family enjoyed the convenience to the family that we were visiting, and everything was clean and working properly. There is a faucet in the kitchen sink that has the valves reversed from a normal installation, but I figured that out. There were plenty of chairs on the deck and the house was interestingly appointed and homey. I need a bit more light and I thought it could have been more bright in the master bedroom. The only thing my elderly mother complained about was that there was a flight of stairs to climb to get to the bathroom. Not much can be done about that, so I think it is a nice house to stay in and we would do it again. Mom probably won't make another trip there anyway. The A/C system works well and you can change the temps in various rooms. Kept us cool all the time.

We enjoyed this place so much. We felt welcome even before we approached the front porch that held a welcome sign. When it got dark outside, it was a "Wow" moment seeing the flickering lights surrounding the walkway. The screened back porch was a plus also. Let me also mention the coffee station... Absolutely Perfect. We just wished we had more time. Thank you so much!

Beautiful home with lots of space! From the moment my family walked in it felt like home. The house was very clean and accommodating. With a gym and man cave theater what more can you ask for. Plus the neighborhood was quiet and right off the main strip surrounded be plenty. Thank you Sashay for sharing your home. I will be staying again when I return to the area.

Such a sweet home, Ganelle truly thought of everything. Every little inch of her home is decorated so tastefully. It was spotless and cozy upon arrival, she even had the faux fireplace and some creek side sounds playing when we got there. We were grateful for the spare room/chair beds, and I’m headed home to buy a new mattress just like the one in Room 1 😊 so comfortable! Our kids also enjoyed the toy/game cabinet - such a nice little touch that most people don’t bother with. Thanks so much for a great family stay!

Our stay has been great! We needed to be close by base for the SunDown Event on Cherry Point. We absolutely loved the cleanliness and the space it provided for us. Brian was very responsive when it came to our arrival and understanding of our long travel from Florida. Look forward to booking there again soon!

We loved watching a doe and a fawn each morning. The view was spectacular. The accommodations were wonderful. The place was clean. Loved that Celeste met us at our arrival. The covered parking garage was also a plus. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

My stay at the Whitehust House was delightful. My host Pollie is amazing and incredibly helpful making sure my time spent here was wonderful. This is a first time staying in downtown New Bern and I love the fact I could walk everywhere. It was such a treat. Perfect location and terrific host makes it a place I plan to return.

Great communication. Price was great for a month stay! The extra bonus was the amenities off the property that were free for those who stayed at the airbnb. This was a perfect place for what we needed. We are planning to move to the area and may use this for family and friends when they visit in the future.

Staying at 301 Hancock Street was a dream! The historic home was so thoughtfully renovated- I felt I'd stepped back in time, but it had all the modern amenities. It was immaculately clean, and very comfortable. The location was fabulous. I parked the car and didn't need it again until we left New Bern. I will definitely be booking this home again on our next trip to New Bern!
