Holiday rentals with lake access in Craven County

The Captains Quarters was a great stay for my family and I. The boat ramp, which is literally right out the front door, being available was a huge plus as we brought our boat. The outside space was wonderful and the inside space was the perfect size for 3 kids and 2 adults. The inside space was very cozy and has a great view of Blounts Creek. This is a perfect stay for the fishermen and hunters as well as family's looking to stay in a relaxed environment and spend some time outdoors. Judy was very communicative and helpful with any questions we had. Will definitely be staying many times again in the future.

This place was very peaceful! The host provided so many family friendly games and movies that we weren’t missing connection to the outside world at all!! I highly recommend staying at this spacious home. We had a party of 7 with 3 kids and it was fantastic! The water is beautiful and the house is spacious. Everything we could need on our Thanksgiving trip to see family in NC! The hosts are very helpful and kind.

This place was a great getaway for my son and I! Shannon was extremely responsive and helpful. She answered all my questions quickly. Check in and out was simple and easy. Everything was super clean. All that you need is on hand. Pack your clothes and toothbrush, and grab some groceries. That's all you'll need. The canoe was great to get out on the water in. A good boat ramp is here if you have a small boat of your own. Quiet, peaceful, friendly area, great interaction with our host, great location, comfortable, clean, everything you want! We loved it!

What a beautiful property! Upon arrival we were even more surprised at how nice the home was. Great views of the Nuese River and downtown New Bern. The kids really enjoyed the bunk room, outdoor slide and fishing off the dock. The interior of the home was very clean and well decorated. The home is very private and peacful, but still only 10 minutes to drive over to downtown New Bern for lots of activities. Definitely would stay at this home again the next time we are in New Bern.

Ben’s place is a nice little place right near New Bern, great place for well behaved dogs, the TV set up is impressive, and it’s super cozy and comfortable. If I come back to the New Bern area I’ll be staying there again most likely if available!
