Chalet holiday rentals in Crackenback

The chalet was exactly what we were looking for and more. I didn’t realize how close it was to Crackenback Farm and Wildbrumby which was perfect for lunches and dinners. It was a relief to be able to take our dogs and leave them in a safe and secure dog enclosure when we were out. We also used the horse riding onsite and got a discount for staying in the chalet. All perfect.

Lovely little AIRBNB within a resort at Crackenback with the Snowy’s and Kosciuszko National Park at your mercy. The home was well equipped with little extra touches such as tea, coffee, milk etc. Great little restaurant within the resort that did fantastic pizzas and wine. We went to hike and hike we did. Main trail, Charlottes Pass to summit walk, Alpine Trail, Cascades hut etc, we did a lot. The pool at the resort was great to come back to after a long day on the trails. We had a fantastic time. Greatly recommended.

We loved our stay here! Such a great location, central to everything you want in a Thredo holiday. Was able to walk to chair lifts for the kids to do mountain biking, a short walk to buy the bread from the bakery in the morning and such a quiet and peaceful place. The chalet felt very spacious for our family of 5, with a separate little loft for our eldest to have a little space to himself. Beds were all comfortable and it was equipped for everything we needed. Across the road is the Leisure Centre where the kids enjoyed a swim and use of the waterslide. Plenty of beautiful hikes too in the surrounding area. Would recommend Colleen's place and would happily stay there again if we get the oppportunity. Thank you Colleen for a great stay.

Thanks so much for hosting us! The place was brilliant, right at the base of the mountain and a super short walk to Friday Flat (handy when you've just finished an ultra marathon!)

The place was absolutely gorgeous and just like alpine cottage we imagined clean and very comfortable fire places with chopped timber ready to warmup with comfortable underfloor heating Located in close proximity to Ski tube and snow location We have seen lots animals from the window and the kids absolutely love it Our small dog has been enjoying this place very much Our neighbours have kids to and we made some new friends Thank you guys

A great place to stay whilst mountain biking in Thredbo. The garage was a bonus as fitted our car plus bikes. Very convenient location opposite the Gunbarrel chairlift. The apartment was spotless and cosy. My only regret is we didn’t stay longer. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for a group as beds split to king singles but message separately to remind them. Handy 3 bathrooms/toilets. Nice gas fire place though lower floor (2 bedrooms) was colder than top floors (hot air rises). Kitchen was a bit small if more than 2 cooking or packing dishwasher but we took turns. Lovely large dining table to sit around and chat. They don’t tell you exact location - is Friday Flat (Google Snowsteam apartments - Mackenzie Pl) park in car park nearby (garage an angle to get into). 900m walk to Thredbo village/chairlift to Mt K. Need to fill in paperwork for Lantern Group 3.42pm before 4pm entry on email link separate to AirBnB (contrary to AirBnB comms recommendations) ensure access to email on phone and mobile reception - 3.42pm email states “The Arrival Instructions for your apartment will be sent once the guest registration has been completed and this process is required for access to your property.” Text received 3.28pm with lockbox # and to check email.

I had a lovely stay here! The place is peaceful, clean and perfectly located a short distance between both Thredbo and Jindabyne. Will definitely be coming back :)

This is an amazing place for 2 families, with ample sleeping options and a generous kitchen and living area, and only a short walk from the chairlifts.

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The accommodation was comfortable, spacious, and easily accessible, making it perfect for our family holiday in the snow. The host was incredibly responsive and always available to answer our questions, which made our experience even better. We had everything we needed for a great trip and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

Great play overlooking lake with deer. Kangaroos, ducks and birds frequently seen beside lake. Well equipped kitchen.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the resort. The facilities for families were wonderful, absolute highlight were the kayaks and canoes on the lake and my boys loved having free rein to ride around the pump tracks and trails. The accommodation was great and there was plentiful space for everyone. Appreciated the amenities, kitchen essentials and beers on arrival 🙌 thank you for hosting us, we will be back!

Nestled in the heart of a snowy wonderland, the property offered breathtaking views and a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The chalet itself is beautifully designed. The spacious living area, complete with a beautiful balcony views, was perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The fully-equipped kitchen and the large dining table was ideal. The bedrooms were comfortable, with plush beds and warm, soft linens. Waking up to the sight of snow-covered mountains just outside the window was an absolute treat. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive and ensuring we had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. If you're looking for a getaway in the snow, this chalet is an absolute gem. We left with wonderful memories and a strong desire to return. Highly recommend!

What can I say - this place is out of this world. Can't recommend it any higher - walked in the door and was blown away. What a location, amazing space fitted out with all you could ever need. Comfy beds, heated floors throughout. Washer, dryer, dry room, view of the run. True ski in, ski out. We will 100% be back!!

This was such a beautiful apartment . Exceeded my expectations. The location is great ! If u are a learner skier u will have to drive to Friday Flat but there are some lovely restaurants all in walking distance . The view is spectacular- the listing doesn’t do it justice … u can watch everyone skiing down the mountain I loved this place !

My partner and I stayed at Gordon's Brumby Chalet for the opening weekend in Thredbo and we had an amazing time! The chalet is beautifully presented, extremely clean, and Gordon very kindly had set us up with fire wood every day that we were there. We were very impressed with his kind hospitality. It was lovely to wake up and eat breakfast looking out to cows and kangaroos, and I hope the new baby is doing well!

Very pleasant & peaceful stay. Beautiful outlook. Place was recently renovated, very comfortable.

There were some incidentals left out for us on arrival, specific to our reason for travelling to the snowy mountains - very much appreciated! Also, the property information and communications during our stay were proactive and well received. Great stay in a great spot, would recommend.

Had such a lovely weekend away at Gordon’s chalet!! The pictures didn’t do justice for how beautiful the place is, and the house was a great size and had everything you need. We were also super lucky to have a sprinkling of snow on our last day which topped it off. Overall such a great place and I will definitely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend away!!
