Kid-friendly holiday rentals in County Wexford

Holly was very friendly and very helpful, responding to our many questions quickly. Her house is beautiful. We felt comfortable as soon as we entered, very spacious, clean and bright. The surrounding area is beautiful too. My grandson just loved the swing and slide. We had a very relaxing weekend and would really recommend it.

We arrived at Niamh's lovely cottage as the last leg of a three week tour of Ireland and it was an absolute delight and perfect for ending our trip. It was so warm and welcoming and peaceful and relaxing and had so much to visit when we could rouse ourselves to go out. Niamh is a very warm and friendly person and made our stay very special with freshly baked bread, freshly laid eggs and lots more delicious treats. Her recommendations were great too - a fabulous pub / seafood restaurant, The Lobster Pot just up the road and the best fish and chips we've had at the Saltee Chipper at Kilmore Quay. Overall, we couldn't have been happier at Niamh's place and were sad to leave. I'm sure we will be back before too long. Many thanks to Niamh and Dermot for a lovely, relaxing stay.

One word 'Wow''. Absolutely stunning place to stay..everything you could need and more. Kids loved it and are already asking when we can go back! The pictures are fab but really life is even better. Martina was the perfect host. If I could give more than 5 stars for everything I would! Will definitely be booking again 🙂

The house was perfect for a weekend stay and it had everything you needed. Only a really short walk to the nearest shops. I would highly recommend Adrienne's place as a place to stay in Wexford :)

Terry's place is perfect. It is spacious, comfortable and well equipped and also has lots of character and personal touches such as the musical instruments. It is in a great location near Kilmore with lots to do and close to Mary Barry's restaurant which is worth a visit. We would definitely recommend to others and hope to return one day.

Patricia was an excellent host. Super responsive at all times. The cottage is without doubt the best location in Kilmorequay. The views onto the beach are just spectacular. Sitting on the terrace at night just listening to the waves was amazing. The cottage was very clean. Beds very comfortable with great quality bed linen. Make sure to check out Mary Barry’s restaurant in the next village over (Complimentary bus service over and back). I can’t wait to come back. Thank You.

House was beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and was pristinely clean. Mark was really generous and accommodating of our requests, and checked in on us over the weekend. We were travelling for an event so didn't get to explore the area this time.

Lovely space, clean, delicious soda bread and a great selection of books. We had a very comfortable stay and would happily stay again.

Isabel was very communicative, and the location within a 15 minute walk to the town centre. All the facilities we required were there and the flat whilst quite small was very clean.

Fabulous place , it was a last minute plan and Joseph was very responsive, clean and tidy home!

Stunning place to stay pictures don’t so this place justice it’s brand new, it’s not a flat it’s a house beside the owners home, so super secure, peaceful, private, loads of parking and space to move around outside. Everything was brand new & spotless (I’m a clean freak) Don’t bother looking awear Else just book this place as it’s perfect & has everything you need, would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous few days staying at The Stables. Breda and Joe have a lovely country property. We love the goodie left for us from Breda. Scones and bread both home made. The cottage is so well equipped with most things you’d need to get by but a Centra only a few minutes away has lots of options. The bed was so comfortable as were the pillows and the fluffiest feather doona. The cottage is heated but we felt we didn’t need heating on as it’s very warm inside anyway but great if it turns cold. A bonus is the washer and dryer, we’d not been able to wash for several day so felt like all home comforts were covered. We loved the kitchen and dining area, great for preparing our meals. Breda has a vegetable and herb garden which she was happy for us to use, I made good use of salad stuff and herb. We got to meet Joe who was brings the horses back into the sheds, we got to see an 8 day old foal, such a highlight for me coming from Australia’s beach scene. We highly this place Fiona

The Coach House was a great place to stay. It was exactly as described. Sally was responsive and took care of everything we needed! The grounds are lovely and the cottage is beautiful. I can't say enough good things about Sally. She is a pleasant hostess and takes great care of the cottage and her guests.

apartment very comfortable for 3 of us staying for weekend. Quiet and with views over river snd weir. Everything was according to description.

Wonderful stay. Super comfy and well equipped. Great communication with Julia and we appreciated the lovely breakfast provisions.

We had a great stay and Carmel was a lovely host. She had great local recommendations and the scones she left us were a very welcome treat. It was quiet and peaceful and the bed was comfy. And of course we loved meeting the alpacas. Would highly recommend!

We stayed there for two nights, it’s beautiful house and rooms and we absolutely loved it there. It’s so peaceful nights. Annette and Tim are very friendly couple especially cooper is a friendly dog. Great place to stay in beautiful Saltmills. Highly recommend.

2nd time staying at Elaine's en route to/from ferry while bikepacking. The suite is spacious, bright and very nicely furnished in a peaceful location. Elaine leaves a generous array of tasty breakfast options which is particularly appreciated when leaving early to make transport connections. Highly recommended and I will be returning.

Deborah was amazing! Upon arrival we were met with her lovely golden retrievers. Her cottage and farm were cozy and had plenty to offer as an early night in. We got to feed her horse, ponies, and pigs and were even allowed to hunt fresh eggs in the mornings. Deborah and her family are lovely hosts and we will definitely be back at some point. Highly recommend Deborah and her animals. We felt like we were Snow White being surrounded by the nature and animals!

Joe's place was really easy to find and super conveniently located. Very central - everything you might need was no more than a 15 minute walk away. Nice view of Wexford Harbour, as well. Joe was really helpful and approachable, happy to recommend good local places to eat and drink, and flexible with check in and out times. I would definitely stay here again :-)

We loved the flat. It’s somewhere we will hopefully stay again on our next visit.

Vinny was a perfect host. Every time I needed something he helped out straight away. The apartment was beautiful and very spacious for my week stay. 100% will be staying there again when I’m back in Wexford, thanks again Vinny!
