Holiday rentals with a hot tub in County Durham

We booked our stay for a 30th birthday weekend with family, the house is stunning and has everything you need and more. Perfect for a celebration. The stay was perfect from start to finish, the only downside we would say was the 10am check out, which we feel is a bit too early especially when check in isn’t until 4pm - When asked for a later check out there was a charge even though there was nobody else due to stay that day. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and would recommend Kimberley and her lovely home. Thank you for having us.

Oh we really loved the place. So spacious….. We were up there for my daughter’s graduation at Teeside uni so it was ideal with only a short drive away and away from the hussle and bustle. We felt so relaxed and our grandson loved the little toys . He didn’t want to leave !!!! Thanks again.

Beautiful place so relaxing just what we needed as a family to regroup and recharge our batteries. Very well equipped with all the essentials made use of the washing machine and airer and ironing board and iron. Great wfi. Hot tub was lovely and the veiws from it.

Great location and barn. Perfect for a multi generational family get together (including a dog). The barn was exactly as described and well kitted out. The outside space is private and safe - the barbecue and hot tub are of a great standard. Excellent food at the Rose and Crown (but you must book). Plenty of places too visit....we had a great walk with two young children round High Force. Sarah is responsive and not "in your face". As good an Airbnb as we have been to for our annual clan gathering.

Beautiful cottage, games area was great, really enjoyed ourselves. Hot tub was lovely and the garden area at back was secluded and well maintained. Loved the outdoor shower , great before getting in hot tub but also useful for hosing down a muddy dog. All in all the cottage felt really homely and a little bit of luxury. Emily seems to be a lovely host and always responded quickly to any queries. Will recommend her to friends and family and would certainly consider coming back.

This house is absolutely insane. The photos do not do it justice, it’s stunning. We came for a hen weekend. we were not there to party, we wanted a chilled weekend and that is what we got. All the rooms are absolutely stunning. We were overwhelmed how nice the house was. The gym, hot tub and sauna just adds to how great the house is. I can’t forget the games room upstairs, that was an added bonus too and was just amazing. I would 100% recommend this house for any families or friends wanting a nice chilled weekend. Mark and Sarah are always there either by email or phone and are quick to sort out any issues. Each room is clean and stunning ready for you arriving. What an amazing house. We were all gutted to leave as it was so lovely. Will definitely be going back.

Debi and Stuart’s accommodation was stunning with beautiful views to match. We felt so at home and everything was in walking distance. We were so lucky to have beautiful weather so we loved being outside in the spacious garden and enjoying the hot tub. Also special touches were made in the lodge as it was my step Dads birthday which I was truly grateful for. We will most definitely be coming back. Thanks again.

We had a family reunion at Elderberry Hall and it was great! Ages ranged from 1 to 92 years and the property suited everyone, with different spaces to suit different needs. The property and garden areas were really well equipped and the hot tub and sauna proved very popular. Samantha was a great host, responding to any queries quickly. We would definitely visit again!

Absolutely loved the stay here, partner booked for my birthday and he absolutely smashed it with the lodge! Beautiful surroundings, spotless and modern lodge itself, such a beautiful and peaceful stay, will be booking again if you’d have us! 🖤🖤

The log cabin was a fantastic find for a rare experience! We and our children were all very impressed with the entertainment and were very comfortable. We loved the personal touches and felt at home. Claire was a helpful and friendly host. Good for a secure stay and parking, and a short drive from Durham. The children loved it too and didn’t want to leave!

Wow, what an amazing experience Anthony and Ed, the place is amazing so beautiful and peaceful if you want a weekend getaway without hassle this is the place to come! Clean, quite and lovely definitely a nice place to enjoy visit 100%

We had an amazing stay at Gosling Lodge, Angus and Leigh were perfect hosts. So friendly and helpful. The lodge itself is stunning, perfect to just escape the world for a few days. I don't think I've ever stayed anywhere as clean, and I stay a lot of places! Facilities were second to none, with even a Dyson hairdryer provided. There was a lovely Italian restaurant within walking distance too. I came home feeling more relaxed than I have in a long time due to how peaceful and quiet our surroundings were. I'm already looking at when I can book a return visit!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Valley cabin. Beautiful place, amenities and is absolutely spotless and views were amazing. Callum was so helpful with any questions and a big shout out to Auntie Jill who is a Star - nothing she won’t do to help the guests going above and beyond. Great last minute weekend away decision! We have had a great time. Friendly and helpful hosts. The cabin was warm and cozy. Bed was comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Our Cocker Spaniel loved the field and woods next door to explore and enjoyed her treat from Allison when we arrived. Spotted the local barn owl which would swoop by the cabin each evening. We also visited the cafe and bought some super tasty cheeses and the sausages were top notch. Will definitely be back!!!! :-)

From the moment we arrived on the grounds this spot is so relaxing. The glamping pods are really well thought out and are comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with different utensils and the pod itself self was brilliantly clean. We stayed in the pod Squirrel 🐿️ and we will definitely be returning customers. Hot tub was amazing and this was checked every day throughout our stay. Pod was lovely and warm, the scenery was fantastic and it was a perfect getaway, thank you.
