Family-friendly holiday rentals in County Cork

We absolutely loved this cozy, impeccably clean house—so much so, we didn’t want to leave! My favorite part was enjoying coffee each morning with the beautiful view. The extra living space gave our family room to spread out, and the sinks in each bedroom were a great touch for keeping things organized. The beds and towels were soft and comfy, and we were pleasantly surprised by the brand-new washer and dryer (with detergent!). My kids loved exploring the area and heading to the beach. There’s a cute café down the road and a nice pub in town—just be aware that places close early, so plan meals ahead. We didn’t use the hot tub since it seemed a bit tricky to figure out, but overall, this was one of our favorite Airbnb stays!

We had a wonderful stay here, surrounded with hills and a quick drive to many little walks, the coast, interesting towns and about 1.5h from areas further afield such as the Ring of Kerry or Mizzen Head. The space itself is comfortable and clean, and was perfect for our visit (us + 2 young kids + 2 elderly parents) — being able to let the kids play outside is a real gift. Hot tub gets nice and hot and was a great treat to end the day. Thank you Marcella for a wonderful stay, and for being so responsive and helping us with a few of the bits we needed / had forgotten at home! Xx

Beautiful location! Not far from Ballydehob and Skibbereen. Great space for the family to spread out and nice kitchen and family room to hangout in. Would definitely recommend!

We had two great nights in a bell tent. Goleen is out of this world beautiful. Incredibly peaceful. Shower and toilet facilities were immaculately clean

We had two families (9 people) staying for a special occasion. Ages from 12 to 90. The ground floor bedroom with balcony is stunning in the evening. There is so much outdoor space, the kids loved the little football pitch. The location was great, walking distance to the town, the beach and pitch & putt. We had a few queries coming up to the stay and during and all were responded to. We were very lucky to have stayed here.

We loved it! It was in an amazing location, quite close to Killarney town and the house itself was amazing and spacious. To top it off John was great to deal with

We loved our stay ,it felt like home,we will deffo be back.The home was spacious,and very clean,the hot tub was a real bonus after a long drive,and to play a little music before bedtime was priceless.The doggies also were welcomed which we appreciated. Our 3 night stay was perfect. The cottage is very comfortable, cozy, quiet and the decor is very nice, chosen with great taste. Mathieu is discreet but very responsive to our messages. Thanks to him for his trust. We recommend this beautiful place with great pleasure.

Beautiful farmhouse in amazing setting, all the facilities we could have wanted and best of all Pat was great at checking we got there ok and provided some great personalised advice for us. A wonderful experience overall.

Martin and Bridgette were excellent hosts. 3 things we look for are cleanliness, comfort and quiet. We got these in abundance. The view from the house was stunning and seeing all the deer in the garden was very special. Good base for touring the penninsulas with great food in town. great place to stay tucked under the shops. parking was available in nearby lot, and walkable to the restaurants and shops in the village. beds easily accommodated the 5 of us, and had the basics needed for a short stay. friendly and responsive host. was very happy with it!

Rose cottage is designed really well, combines an architectural sympathy with the surrounding landscape whilst the simplicity of the uncluttered interior make for very comfortable living.

Another Wonderful Stay at Lazy Acre! This was our second visit to Lazy Acre in Rosscarbery, and it was just as lovely as we remembered. One of the main reasons we returned is because we can bring our dog, Skittles — it's such a dog-friendly spot, and he loves it as much as we do! The location is absolutely perfect — just a stone's throw from the beautiful Warren Beach and only a short walk into town, so everything you need is within easy reach. The area is peaceful and scenic, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway. We had a lovely, restful stay with our family and felt right at home. Lazy Acre has become a special place for us, and we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located stay on the West Cork coast!

We has an unforgettable stay. We really appreciate getting to know Joe and his parents Billy and Rita. Billy was especially personable with our kids and showed us around the surrounding farm. This place was also a nice, quiet getaway for our family as we adjusted to time zones from over seas. We loved the green pastures quiet evenings.

Gorgeous home to stay in. Had everything we could possible have needed. Bridie was very responsive and helpful. The view from the house is stunning.

We have fallen in love with Julie’s beautiful studio. Everything about the home is gorgeous, the house is so equipped, there are so many amenities and the pool and garden are fantastic. It’s definitely our favourite Airbnb that we’ve been to and we’ll definitely come back.

We spent an absolutely wonderful week in Julie‘s cottage. The cottage was so perfect. Everything was in place to make you feel right at home. It’s a stunning location with its own beautiful garden and pool, and very peaceful. Great area for walking and terrific restaurants nearby. Julie is a superb host and her caretaker was on hand and very helpful if we needed anything. But we wanted for nothing! Thank you again Julie for sharing your beautiful home with us. We cannot wait to come again.

This was a great Airbnb. Location about 1 mile outside of Killarney. Comfortable clean big. Airbnb is part of the Glen Eagle apartments behind the Brehon Hotel. You have to check in at the GlenEagle hotel which is next to Brehon. Kind of confusing, but we figured it out.

It was really a nice stay . really nice and clean property in a very convenient location.

Lovely spacious and very clean house on a peaceful island in county cork. We spent 5 nights here for my mother in law’s birthday. Well located to explore the surrounding beaches, bays, islands and countryside. Unfortunately our fridge broke but the team were very quick to create solutions and then fix it. Fabulous place to stay, lots to see and do on the estate. We wished we had booked for longer and will definitely try and visit again.

We had such a gorgeous stay. The cottage was cosy and well equipped, the little private outside seating area was lovely. The pool was a big hit with the kids and it was great to have the whole thing to ourselves for the entire hour. We had many gorgeous walks in the grounds, my 10 year old daughter loved the fairy walk. Paul was very friendly and helpful, a perfect host. A truly magical place.
