A fantastic place to stay in a really great part of west cork. The house is perfectly situated with a couple of minutes walk down to the beach for swims on a private path. It’s quiet and secure and has its own sauna with a great view. Highly recommend!!

Gérards place is a must-stay if staying in Clonakilty. We swam every day in the heated pool, played tennis in the afternoon in their private tennis court and walked the local area as well. Stunning grounds to walk as well around the property. 100% would stay again Thank you Connor

Owenie's Cottage - Enjoy Our Private Hot Tub

VickiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – A Magical Stay for a Very Special Birthday We had the most unforgettable stay at this beautiful cottage in Ireland to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The cottage itself is charming, spotless, and incredibly well-equipped — the perfect blend of cozy and luxurious. The setting is peaceful and scenic, with breathtaking countryside views that added to the sense of escape and relaxation we were hoping for. The hot tub was a real highlight — soaking under the stars with a glass of wine after a day of exploring was magical. My mum was thrilled, and it truly made her birthday feel special and indulgent. Our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay feel personal and welcoming. Thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, a welcome basket, and helpful local tips made all the difference. They even helped us arrange a few special surprises for my mum, which we’re incredibly grateful for. We couldn’t have asked for a more per

A lovely kitchen to cook while enjoying the view then a soak in the hot tub again with the amazing view. Skiberreen and Baltimore are a short drive away with some amazing restaurants even Michelin star. Sarah however is a great host easily contactable and there to give recommendations.

Cosy Seaside Cottage Baltimore

ClaireRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was the cottage experience we were hoping for in Ireland! We loved the character of the cottage with so much thought put into every detail and texture. The art and decor were very tasteful and the amenities were good and practical. We especially loved making a fire each night even though we aren't terribly experienced at it! And the views from all the windows of the peaceful vegetation were so calming. And the private sitting areas in the yard were delightful - one with an ocean view! Their dog was sweet and friendly, too. The instructions for using the hot water were clear, but somehow we mixed them up so struggled a little with the shower but got it straight eventually! Aisling and Donagh were delightful hosts. A short drive away, Baltimore is a true gem of a town with breathtaking scenery and a rich cultural scene, and it even has a michelin star restaurant if that's your speed. Plus the fun algiers pub! We hope to come back again soon

Ellie's cottage.lauragh.beara peninsula.

ArthurRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Eileen's house provided a truly comfortable and welcoming base to explore the amazing Beara Peninsula. The property was just as described and depicted -- including the amenities and gorgeous views that match the photos but have to be seen to be appreciated. The house itself is spotless, has a great walk-in shower and modern appliances including a washer and dryer. Eileen herself is part of the house's charm -- she went out of her way to walk us through it and then took more time to introduce us to all the many natural highlights of the peninsula, from hiking trails to a ferry ride to drives that reveal one grand vista after another. And it's all far less crowded than other Wild Atlantic Way destinations we've been to. Eileen responded quickly to questions and was a cheerful delight. She knows the area inside out and is glad to share tips with guests. It's simply a great location to visit and this is a wonderful place to stay.

Pulleen Cottage

JenniferRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a wonderful stay on the edge of a gorgeous working farm! We arrived to scones, jam and butter set out on the kitchen table. The house is large compared to every other Irish stay we enjoyed. Six people could definitely stay here with ease. There's a full kitchen and two baths. Moreover, there's Jenny the Donkey out front and Polly Puxley the cat at the backdoor. Please bring carrots for Jenny and treats for the relentless but fabulous Polly. We fed them with the permission of our lovely host Mairead, who came by to meet us and who was very welcoming. Don't miss a long walk along the farm where you can greet sheep and another donkey. The surrounding area is breathtaking!

Traditional Kerry cottage near Glanmore Lake

LeontienRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I have stayed in this cottage quite a few times over the years - and I always enjoy it immensely. The cottage is lovely, decorated in a style that suits its age, and set in the most stunning scenery. It feels as though you're in the middle of nowhere - it is so quiet the deer come right up to the patch of grass in front of the house in the evenings and there are so many different birds it's almost like an orchestra - but you're definitely not: There are two good restaurants in the area, a nice pub near a harbour, a lunchroom in gorgeous gardens and a very well stocked shop-and-tearoom only a 20 minute drive away. So yes, I will come again!

A beautifully restored farmhouse.

TaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a wonderfull time in Avril's restored farmhouse. It is so peaceful and quiet and the views from every window are stunning. The house is comfortable and homely, with a bright, well equipped kitchen. It was great to have a piano to play without worrying about disturbing anyone. Lovely garden with a sunset viewing spot if the weather allows! We loved the Sheep's Head peninsula and Avril's house is on the quiet side. Everywhere there are great walking opportunities and some swimming spots, including a few minutes from the house. On the other side of the peninsula we had a lovely meal at Arundel's by the Pier and The Tin Pub and Eileen's are fabulous for a drink. Wayne showed us around the house and made us feel immediately at home. He was nearby if we needed help but left us in privacy. Avril was very helpful and communicative, giving good local tips. As others have said, bring provisions because once you arrive you won't want to leave! And I won't forget those views!

Muckross cottage

BeatrizRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The location is beautiful, we loved how quiet it was at night. And still so close to the venue we had to go, and the town centre. We all loved being welcomed by the dogs! We think is the most complete place we stayed in Ireland so far, the kitchen had absolutely everything you could have forgotten to bring for cooking, plenty of tableware, and being honest the features and design I'd love in my own. The beds were comfortable, the wardrobe is huge. The bathroom has a beautiful design, and we didn't even unpacked our own shampoo and gel, as it had plenty of it all. The laundry room is very convenient, the house was warm, with good insulation. It was a very short, lovely stay, super comfortable and we hope it is available on our next visit to Killarney.

A little slice of paradise! A beautifully decorated traditional Irish cottage with a fab beach walk on your doorstep. Could not recommend Aisling highly enough, a fabulous host who gave us the warmest welcome with fresh scones, eggs, milk and all the necessities to keep us going! We travelled with a toddler who absolutely adored the treasure trove of kid's toys, kept him entertained for the entirety of our stay! Lots of beautiful activities in the vicinity, along with some great restaurants. Will definitely be back again!

Traditional cottage in the heart of rural Ireland

DebraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed here for 3 nights. A very comfortable cottage & extremely well equipped. We loved all the homely touches. As we are on a 4 week road trip the washing machine & tumble drier proved very useful. It’s in a very remote & peaceful location and when the weather is good there are some great views. Many thanks
