The old village school

The old school/schoolmaster's house is on the edge of a tiny village where there's no shop, no café, so you’ll need a car. It's very rural here, with views across the gently undulating countryside from the school. Two small towns with supermarkets - La Machine and Cercy-la-Tour, are both about 11 kilometres away. Decize, a much larger town on the Loire, is about 18 km away. There are two double bedrooms, and another small one with a triple-layer bunk bed suitable for children.

The Little Sternes House

The small Maison des Sternes welcomes you to La Madeleine, a small nest. One bedroom, one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom with bathtub, free street parking. Very nice apartment on the 2nd floor of a 19th century bourgeois house, in the heart of a century-old park, recommended by Le Petit Futé. An enchanted enclave in the heart of the city, less than a 5-minute walk to the train station and tourist center. The 2 bedrooms, very spacious, each have a 160 x 200 bed and a desk. A large sofa offers the 5th bed. A fully equipped kitchen, open to the living room, offers an ideal living space to enjoy a hearty breakfast.
