Very well-equipped house. Quality services in a very natural environment (woodland environment) Very clean, very spacious for everyone to find their privacy. The hot tub is a real plus!

Convenient, beautiful location. The house was well-stocked and comfortable. Exavtly as described. The heated floors made the house extra cozy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the house.

Alain likes to host and it shows. He goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home and it's a success. The cottage is comfortable, very well arranged and nicely decorated. Without moving from her bed, the view is magical 😉 We were not lucky with the weather but were still able to enjoy the SPA, the calm and serene atmosphere and the beautiful view of the place. A real airBNB where we will love to come back and which we will remember for a long time. Thanks Alain for your kindness and may life be sweet.

Paula and Chris were great hosts and responsive to any questions that we had. They were very helpful and did everything they could to make our stay perfect.! Thank you Chris for starting our fire last night. We really enjoyed it. The house , garden and outside patios were very comfortable. We especially loved the hot tub and the sunroom. It was so relaxing! Paula never forgot one detail! She included so many extras, including hot and cold options provided for breakfast and lots of toiletries, and anything we needed. We loved the beautiful selection of crystal glasses and bowls, the kitchen was well stocked. Our group of four were all relaxed and we had a great time! .

I had a great time with my husband and son while staying here. The space is clean and has everything you would need for a weekend getaway. Travis was kind and responsive, and also left us some eggs, bread and honey which was very nice. We had a lovely bonfire under the stars on a clear night (before the fire ban) and wood was provided. I would definitely recommend staying here if visiting the Codroy Valley area, and hope to stay again in the future!

What an amazing find on the Cabot Trail! The location is rural and views amazing! Vincent was so helpful. Just make sure you take all the provisions you need as it’s a 15 minute drive to the nearest shop. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend to.

The view of the St. Lawrence river from the house was so refreshing after a long drive from northern Ontario. The location provided easy access to the national parks in the area. House had the amenities we needed and was really nice to have the washer/dryer. Highly recommend a stay at this location if vacationing in the area.

Lovely place to stay with a short walk behind the house to the beach. Lots of kitchen items and food provided for our stay. lots of towels in the bathroom!

The Gris Morne shed is very cute and comfortable and right in the beautiful town of Trout River. Watched a stunning sunset on the boardwalk right across the street from the shed. Listened to the waves from the living room. Had everything we needed.

Couldn’t have asked for more from this home away from home. It had everything we needed including the most comfortable bed ever! Jennifer was great to communicate with and sorted a problem we had with the internet. We loved listening to the birds in the garden but sadly didn’t see any moose no matter how long we lurked around the back windows!

As soon as you arrive, you feel at home in La Verte. The house is very flirtatious. Everything was impeccable. The view is beautiful, even in bad weather! Thank you to Karine and Patrick for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful place, in peace. (A special thank you from Albus, who loved the little touches for him.) It was a pleasant weekend!

We had a great experience in this cottage. It was such beautiful and amazing place to stay. I will come back for sure here to spend some peaceful time. We had never experienced like this ever. Such a fabulous moments we had.

Had a great visit! The space was clean, comfortable, and as described. Jan was very welcoming and responsive, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend it without hesitating!

We had a peaceful, scenic, just-as-anticipated time. We brought our 11 year old dog with us to experience the sea for the first time, and wanted something peaceful and relaxing, with good amenities, but didn’t need anything fancy (though everything was just great!). Austin’s place was perfect. We enjoyed daily walks on the beach in the morning, fishing in Dalhousie, and an easy drive to get groceries if we needed. Also had a few fun day trips, too! (We loved Bathurst beach). The place was so clean, mindful, and had all of these little extras scattered through the home, seemingly just as you needed them (face wash, salt and pepper, tea, ice trays already filled and frozen, jam packets in the pantry) - with this feeling of instant home. Also, the surrounding neighbours were so kind while also giving us our space to enjoy. We are already dreaming of coming back, and will absolutely be back. Highly reccomend for a peaceful, calming weekend or week away.

As others have previously stated, I wish I could have stayed longer. The cottage was wonderful. Lots of outdoor things to do in the area. The people I met on my hikes were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Mary-Lou’s place. 5 Stars.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Gisele was very helpful and friendly. Fishing in the area was great and the surroundings were beautiful. Cabin was well stocked on amenities and was very comfortable. Felt like you were staying in a cozy family cabin.

Wonderful, simple and uncluttered lodging. Spotlessly clean. All the amenities we needed and very helpful providing information of recommended restaurants in the area.
