We can highly recommend this accommodation! The house with the pool, great rooms and bathrooms as well as lounges was just wonderful. Everything has been thought of in the furnishings and equipment. We loved everything about this house! The sunset in the nearby lagoon made the stay perfect. Mafalda is a great host and communication was always friendly and extremely helpful. Thank you for everything, we had the best time! <3

Such a beautiful place near to the beach, local restaurants and scenic spots. Sabine and Ana are very responsive and provided us with local recommendations which helped us a lot to see Sintra when we are in town. It may be tricky if you are driving due to the tight parking space, but other than that everything else is amazing.

nous avons choisi cette superbe maison pour passer un séjour mon épouse et moi avec une amie, son fils et sa belle-fille. Idéalement située, les photos de l’annonce parlent d’elle-même. Le salon est très confortable, la cuisine est parfaitement équipé, il ne manque rien. Le bbq est de très bonne qualité. La piscine est agréable et la vue sur l’océan et le coucher de soleil sont tous simplement à couper le souffle. Vous êtes accueillis par les hôtes qui vous font le tour du propriétaire pour finalement vous dire voilà, vous êtes chez vous avant de vous quitter. Lurdes et Luis sont charmants. Ils passent tout les trois jours en fin de journée pour arroser la végétation, prendre les poubelles et entretenir la piscine. Cela se fait très rapidement et il est possible d’échanger avec eux nombres d’informations. Ils parlent très bien le français. Les plages à moins de dix minutes en voiture sont magnifiques. Nous y reviendrons certainement.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

Carla foi atenciosa desde as nossas primeiras comunicações. Além de solícita, ainda nos deixou uma caixa de petiscos em nossa chegada. A casa é exatamente como consta da descrição. O espaço é arejado, iluminado e agradável e o campo ao lado da casa é um privilégio adicional para quem viaja com crianças. Vivemos dias incríveis na casa. Recomendo muito.

Wir haben mit 2 Familien eine Woche in Daniel's Haus verbracht und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Haus und Grundstück sind nicht nur groß, sondern auch schon eingerichtet bzw. angelegt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und mit beheiztem Pool, neuem Kicker, Yogamatten, der Tischtennisplatte und dem Grill gibt es auch ohne Ausflüge viel zu tun. Aber angesichts der schönen, ruhigen Natur (ab und zu nerven das Hundegebell etwas) in unmittelbarer Umgebung und den vielseitigen Strände (im Westen mit Wellen, bei Sesimbra ruhig karibisch, allerdings kalt:-)) wäre es schade, auf Ausflüge zu verzichten. Man braucht allerdings einen Mietwagen und Einkaufsgelegenheiten sind etwas weiter weg (bis den den kleinen Shop im Ort, der Essentials anbietet). Wir würden das Haus definitiv nochmal buchen.

This place was stunning. We had a great stay! There were six of us and more than enough room. The host was fantastic and super easy to get in touch with. I would definitely stay here again.

Queremos deixar um enorme agradecimento pela forma como fomos recebidos. O espaço superou todas as expectativas — é lindíssimo, acolhedor e pensado com um cuidado que se nota em cada detalhe. A arquitetura é inspiradora e combina de forma perfeita com o ambiente calmo e ao mesmo tempo social. A privacidade de cada quarto é uma grande mais-valia, permitindo descanso e tranquilidade, mas ao mesmo tempo adorámos ter uma sala, uma cozinha e um pátio que nos convidaram a partilhar bons momentos entre todos. Foi o equilíbrio ideal. A hospitalidade foi irrepreensível: sentimos-nos verdadeiramente bem-vindos. A simpatia e atenção com que fomos tratados, além da comida deliciosa que nos foi proporcionada, tornaram a experiência ainda mais especial. Foi uma estadia memorável!

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in het huis van Dinis. Zeer prettig ontvangst en uistekende communciatie. De ligging van het huis is erg bijzonder met fantastisch uitzicht. We zijn 4 nachten verbleven en hebben genoten van alles wat de omgeving te bieden heeft. We hebben fantastische hikes gemaakt vanuit het huis naar Cabo de Roca. Wel een uitdagende hike met vele hoogtemeters met mooie uitzichten en stranden, zoals Praia da Ursa. Ook een hike naar het noorden naar het strand Paria do Gribeto. Ook een fantastisch strand waar je je even alleen op de wereld voelt. De afdaling naar het strand is wel écht een uitdaging. Heerlijk gegeten bij het restaurant Azenhas do Mar - Piscinas op nog geen 400 meter van het huis. Daarnaast lekkere verse vis gehaald bij de lokale markt en die heerlijk gegrild op de BBQ. Kortom, we hebben mega genoten van de rust, ruimte en alle uitzichten.

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

Yun was an excellent host, very responsive and provided all of the required info. The pool and outdoor area was amazing and there was so much space - the air bnb is larger even than it looks in pictures. We would absolutely come again!

We had an amazing, magical stay at Casa Das Rosas. Hugo and Laura are really wonderful hosts. Please follow all their recommendations for things to do in Sintra and beyond. They really made our stay so special. The house is so nicely designed and really comfortable. The small outside sitting area on the cobblestone walkway is perfect for morning coffee. The location is great for walking. The walk to the old part of Sintra takes about 10 minutes. Take the path through the Parque Liberdade to old Sintra. You won’t be sorry . We hope to be able return to Casa Das Rosas. Thank you Hugo & Laura!

Wonderful place to stay at. Communication was great and easy. We had everything we needed and even more. Confortable beds, the couch in the living room was just incredible! we totally fell in love with it haha! Kitchen had everything we needed. Big backyard. Clean, Intimate and calm, but still close to everything. Beach 5 minutes walking distance. I strongly recommend.

Duarte was a communicative, responsive and helpful host - we really appreciated this as there's only so much you can research online. The location of Casa da Encosta is magical, the fact you can't park outside makes it all the more special with no immediate road noise. The small terraced garden which surrounds the house is totally charming, offering plenty of little places to separate yourself from others should you wish and read a book or enjoy the view. Fixtures and fittings are of a high standard and the renovation executed thoughtfully. The feeling of being inside a jewelled box comes to mind. Yet it feels like someone's home and you feel welcome in it. A thoroughly enjoyable stay in a remarkable region of Portugal. Thank you.

Nous avons passé un weekend formidable dans cette très belle maison ! La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de gout, et des très beaux objets. Elle est très confortable et il y a une super énergie. La maison est facile d'accès vers les plages, mais aussi vers Lisbonne. C'est un super port d'accroche pour visiter les alentours. Mention spécial à Barbara qui nous a aidé à organiser un weekend parfait grâce a ces nombreux conseils & contacts ! Je recommande !

J'ai beaucoup aimé mon expérience dans le logement cozy de Lina à Caparica. J'ai réservé ce logement à la toute dernière minute et Lina a été assez gentille et "responsive" pour m'accomoder dans les plus brefs délais. Aprés un séjour intense au Portugal, j'avais besoin d'un endroit oû me relaxer avant de revenir à la maison et le logement de Lina était exactement ce dont j'avais besoin. La maison est bien équipé, surtout la cuisine, il y a tout ce dont on a de besoin. J'ai beaucoup aimé le quartier très sécuritaire et "laid back" et la plage est très proche du logement. Beaucoup de très bons restaurants dans le quartier aussi et les épiceries sont proches. J'étais triste de quitter tellement j'étais bien et reposée dans ce logement. J'ai beaucoup apprécié la communication avec Lina, sa gentillesse, sa disponibilité et sa flexibilité. Merci encore Lina!

It was our best experience with Airbnb by far. Everything was just perfect: amazing views, well equipped kitchen, clean bathroom, powerful shower, comfortable bed. Falling asleep to the sound and smell of the sea felt like the best feeling in the world! The host was super responsive, helpful and provided great recommendations of things to do in the area. Our hosts Helena & Nuno, were lovely, helpful & informative, they came up with places to visit that we wouldn’t have known about, in particular Guincho beach & bar (beautiful) Luna the dog was an added bonus for us as we lost our lab a few months ago. Do take notice of their suggested restaurants as they are the best in that area. Be aware it’s hilly, everything is walking distance (supermarket, restaurants etc) however, Paço do Arcos itself is not visually spectacular but the villa is, what it is, is an ideal staging point to travel to Cascais, Sintra & central Lisbon and a lovely quiet hideaway. Quick tip, use the Bolt app to get around cheaply and use the trains as they are very reasonably priced. We would fully recommend you stay here.
