We loved the stay. We chose Pedro's house to spend a few days at the end of the year, and it was a great decision, the house and the surroundings are excellent. Very good for resting and hiking. Pedro, was a great host, was always very available, always providing useful information, and was very attentive to us. Experience to repeat, of course.

Absolutely beautiful place, and the people are very kind. I would highly recommend for a family getaway. The property is gorgeous. A place where kids can be kids.

Senhora Dulce was exceptional in answering my doubts, attentive and very friendly, leaving several indications of everything that was needed from restaurant, market, places to visit… The lady Celeste who received us was wonderful and super attentive. I am delighted with everything the house offers, especially for the children, my daughter loved the dollhouse. I will be back for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at Ricardo’s. Both indoor and outdoor spaces were spacious and as advertised. It was noticeable that the hosts are making ongoing efforts to improve and modernise the spaces while maintaining some traditional charm. Everything we needed was provided. The pool was large with good depth variety, though it could benefit from better maintenance. Unlike other places, the automatic cleaning system ran only at night, so we often had to manually clear bugs from the surface before using it. We were a bit disappointed not to find some things, like darts and a hammock, that were shown in the photos. However, these were minor issues and had little impact on our overall stay. All the hosts offered exceptional hospitality, making us feel more like we had a personal guide than just a host. We enjoyed the daily bread deliveries and felt very welcome in the village and surrounding areas.

We love the stay! The accommodation is perfect for family and big groups. Patrícia was very flexible at check-in and check-out, which we greatly appreciated. No doubt a place to recommend!

Truly true: a paradise on earth. 45 minutes drive from Lisbon on a quiet road, ideal to visit the city. Gigantic large house with enough bedrooms and three beautiful bathrooms. Spaciously equipped kitchen. The house is in a secluded villa neighborhood and is secured as a fort knox, with steel panels that you can close for all windows. Not only do they secure well, but they also provide less warmth inside (lack of air conditioning is actually not a miss, it stays cool enough), and screens all the sound from outside. And the pool, the giant pool: WoW. Bigger than we had at many campsites in the past. In short: not cheap, but if you want to unpack it is highly recommended.

The place was a dream. We were there with 8 people (3 couples, a single, a child). Each room has its own bathroom. The living room is larger than some apartments and has plenty of room for everyone. The highlight was the billiard room. The kitchen is large and is sufficiently equipped. There are 2 refrigerators, which is very convenient if you are there with many people. Everything is lovingly decorated and makes it very cozy. The grounds outside are very large and privacy is guaranteed at all times. The pool is really big and we used it every day with great pleasure. It is also fenced and has an area for smaller children. Luisa welcomed us in a very friendly way and explained everything. She was always open to questions and tips and answered everything promptly. We really enjoyed the time in the house and felt comfortable. Shopping and restaurants are approx. 15 minutes by car.

The landlords living upstairs were extraordinarily nice and helpful. Lots of helpful tips and in the morning even fresh buns were delivered by the baker.
