Come enjoy our cozy, clean, newly renovated semi-detached cottage in the Litchfield Hills. Stay in, cook dinner, and relax on the large porch and listen to the sound of our brook and the Housatonic River just steps away. An ideal writer or artist retreat. Or enjoy the surrounding area - there are lots of restaurants, galleries, day hikes, and outdoor activities within a short drive. 8 miles to Kent, voted the prettiest small town in CT, 5 miles to Mohawk Ski Area and 20 minutes to Metro North.
What guests are saying:“We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the Appalachian Trail and other local sites. Pam and Walter were so kind and thoughtful. They had snacks and drinks waiting for us on arrival. Due to Covid concerns, they left the property open so no need for face to face check-in, although I was very happy to meet them both over the bushes. This is a small property, but they had everything we needed, plus more. The kitchen and bathroom are well stocked with amenities. We spent most of our time on the front porch, sipping wine and listening to the babbling brook that borders their property. To sum it up... if we are ever back in this beautiful area of CT, we will stay here!”

It was the most lovely weekend with friends. The town is beautiful in the fall and the hot tub is such a fun experience. This house is the perfect mix of cozy comfort with high-end amenities. The master bath is SO nice. Everything is clean and the check-in / check-out process could not be smoother. Plus, the hosts are so kind and responsive.
