Our place is right on The Gulkana River. You’ll love our sauna, skiing, and 77-acre homestead. We are off the grid (no electricity), but have a sink, wood stove (we start for you), clean outhouse (no indoor toilet) and plenty of water that we haul for you. Outdoor shower is very rustic. Gulkana River Ranch is a haven for those wishing to be close to nature and experience bush Alaska as it used to be. Mod cons quite limited: Instagram-worthy photos plentiful:) Adventure awaits the hearty soul!

Come stay in our Alaskan tiny home with a big view! Coffee & tea are provided and options for a homemade breakfast, when desired. Located close to Wrangell-St.Elias National Park and Valdez. Great location for skiing/hiking Thompson pass or cross country skiing/hiking trails around the property. Handmade log furniture and Alaska themed books and treasures we have collected throughout the years are in the tiny home for your enjoyment. We are dog friendly and have a German shepherd mix ourselves.

Come enjoy a 900 sq. ft. apartment with a queen memory foam bed in the bedroom, a queen memory foam bed and a futon in the living room. A complete kitchen is included. We are just across the Copper River from the Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. The Copper River is within walking distance. Both the Gulkana and the Klutina Rivers are about 15 miles away. Unique off grid tiny home. Dog friendly with a fenced in dog run attached to the house. The loft queen bed is built for those with youth left in them! 2 burner propane cook stove. 110 & 12v outlets. Tv, few dvds. Experience 12v and ask as many questions as you want! Fridge. Cute little wood stove to take the chill out of the air. 5 gallon Kitchen sink. Fancy outhouse. Hot outdoor shower June - Sept! Come enjoy the peace. :) Cozy & quiet wilderness resting place. No city amusements.

Quaint one-room Alaska cabin close to adventure!

Excellent cabin to rest, recover, and base your Alaskan adventures out of! The cabin is small (16′ x 12′) with space for three guests (full and twin bed.) A small kitchenette allows for light food prep (no oven or stove but does have microwave and mini fridge). Coffee and tea is provided. Enjoy a hot shower at the end of your day, and sleep soundly with the help of blackout curtains.

Great cabin especially if you are traveling with kids, they loved bunk beds so much it was their favorite place from the whole trip. Great little cafe on the property and a really wonderful place for a day trip to McCarthy or on the way to/from Valdez

Beautiful location on the water surrounded by boreal forest. Views of snowcapped mountains on the drive in. The host was friendly and made check in and out super easy. We loved delicious cinnamon rolls provided. Thanks for a great stay!

Melodye and Jerry's bnb was an excellent choice! Do not hesitate to book a stay here if you are looking for the nicest place in the GlenAllen area for a stopover!! Not only was the place extremely clean, all the thoughtful amenities from Coffee in room to shower accessories.... we really enjoyed our quick stay and felt right at home! They were so friendly and even shared a breakfast with us which required them to get up early to accommodate our schedule. And the cinnamon rolls waiting in our room... C'mon! These two know hospitality and you can tell their BnB is a labor of love! Thanks Melodye and Jerry for a great stay! Dan and Shay

The Bear Cabin I was staying in was very warm and cozy. The beds are extremely comfortable, especially for a guy that have travelled the whole day and just needed some rest. The bathroom is public, however it is basically shining. Overall my stay in Golden Spruce was totally worth it.
