Holiday rentals with a kayak in Copake Lake

Beautiful location, very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean home with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. And the town, which is a short drive from the home, is very charming with lots of cute shops and great dining options. The only couple of flags are the bedrooms are all side by side and the walls are thin, so be prepared to be aware of the movements of all staying in the house (or bring headphones). And they’re not joking when they say the neighbors are close, like RIGHT next to you on both sides, and sound definitely travels easier on the water. We were grilling one night and could hear every word the couple next door to us spoke as they had their evening wine on their deck. So just keep that in mind if you’re seeking deep privacy or have a noisier group. But overall a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautifully appointed home. I’d be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful lake house! The home itself is lovely—spacious, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. The lake and boats were a big highlight for us, offering plenty of fun and relaxation. Our host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. While there were a few small things that needed fixing, she addressed them right away and was very communicative, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and a memorable holiday for our family. We’d definitely love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Daniel’s place in Coxsackie! The house is beautiful, well-maintained, and equipped with all the utensils and essentials you could need. The location is great—peaceful yet convenient. Communication with Daniel was smooth and helpful throughout, and his guidance made everything easy. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay!

The house was exactly as advertised. Clean and neat. Good supply of kitchen utensils, dishes etc. Appliances in good condition. Burden Lake is absolutely beautiful. An adult Bald Eagle flew right by our deck. And Kay's Pizza on the Second Dyke Rd is fabulous

We arrived from an exhausting and loud city. Busy with noise and politics, to a cozy and tastefully decorated cottage. It almost brought tears into our eyes. So serene and peaceful. The cottage had everything we needed for our escape. Beautiful views of the creek, fresh air and a fire pit around the property. Luxurious linen calm paint on the walls is exactly what we needed to to calm our nerves and just relax. Thank you for this beautiful home and creating such an oasis for your guests. It's hard to beat a place like this if you are looking for a peaceful, quiet, and comfortable stay. The lakefront backyard with kayaks, fireplace, heated porch with swing, and amenities to meet any basic need, made this a wonderful base for our group of four adults, a child, and furry friend to explore the area. It's a beautiful country/lake side escape a short drive from a number of villages and towns providing great eats, good shopping, and sightseeing. Highly recommend.

Have stayed in Sonya’s cottage many times and each time is better than the last. Definitely the place I check for first when in the area.

I wanted a weekend getaway for my son’s 13th birthday that landed on Friday the 13th, I came across this cabin airbnb and decided to book and give it a try. this location is an hour away from our home and gave us that peace of paradise we were looking for. the cabin felt like home and had everything you can possibly need. I honestly wish I can give higher than a 5 star because this cabin was perfect. I’ll be booking again for a winter weekend getaway. thank you for hosting my family and I.

Comfortable and clean with beautiful scenery - on clear days, you get a Mountain view across the lake! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Leticia’s on Lake Copake for Memorial Day Weekend. Everything was pristinely clean and well outfitted, including the kitchen and our toddler had an amazing time running around. We especially loved the fire pit as the weather was too chilly, and Leticia kindly left us a lighter and fire starter. Overall great location - near hikes, town of Hudson and other farm stands and just steps from the lake - just what we needed to getaway from NYC.

This is a beautiful and peaceful cottage with easy access to shops and restaurants in the area. It was perfect for a sisters weekend. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing valentines weekend and my dog couldn’t have had more fun ! This private cabin in the neck of the woods can truly be described as a real getaway ! It has a beautiful landscape and is strapped with everything we needed and more. After a full day of hikes in the local area, we found ourselves snowed in and enjoyed some card games. We had an outdoor fire in the stone pit and made some smores. Colleen and Julian were also super accommodating for us due to the weather conditions as well. They are beyond helpful ! Thank you guys ! Will definitely be back !

My husband and I spent a long weekend at the cabin for our 10th Anniversary and we had the most peaceful, relaxing stay. The location is impeccable - very private, beautiful setting, close to nearby cute towns. We loved falling asleep listening to the creek and seeing the fireflies over the water. The cabin is adorable and well appointed. Finally, Sam and Catherine could not have been better hosts- very easy to communicate with, reached out with tips, and our dogs enjoyed running around together. We will absolutely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Marta's house. Everything was spotless, well cared for and thoughtful. The check in process was so simple and the house rules were easy to follow. The record collection was such a nice touch, especially on a rainy Saturday afternoon and the basement with a full media setup and games was perfect for a Saturday night in. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels and amenities and the hot tub was great as well! The location was also great! Nothing bad to say about this amazing little spot :-)

We had a great time here with our 9 month old baby. The pictures don’t do the house justice. Access to the lake for swimming and kayaking and the facilities (pools, beach, basket ball and tennis court) make this a great place for an active vacation. The house has everything you need to travel with a young child (toys, changing table, pack ‘n play and even black out shades). The towns of Athens and Coxsackie are a few minutes away and have decent food and drink options. We would love to come back!

This comfortable, cozy, magical piece of Catskill paradise was the perfect place to gather to mourn the loss of my father and make some new family memories for a lifetime. Photography is a hobby of mine and the picturesque landscape allowed me to get lost in my passion. We cooked all our meals together in the well-appointed kitchen, challenged each other in the PacMan arcade game and cuddled up together to watch the stars shine and a movie on the comfy couch. We took long walks and met two local farm horses grazing freely in the local fields. The wonderful host was very accommodating and fast to respond. We loved her thorough recommendations for local dining, fun activities and nearby shopping. Book this cabin in the Catskills! You will not be disappointed! We will be back!
