Hawthorne is a 2-hour drive from NYC or a 2-hour Amtrak ride from Penn Station to Hudson, and then a 20 minute drive by car or taxi. We are just a 10 minute drive from Hudson's bustling Warren Street in the historic hamlet of Claverack. We live on the property, but our guesthouse is separate and private. It's all surrounded by our 2 1/2 acre garden, which is our passion as well as our profession. We've recently adapted a 2 year old standard poodle named Nora. She is a very shy little girl, and will win your heart. We are sorry, but we do not accept pets or children under 12.

Our cozy 3 bedroom home is 120 miles from New York City and 150 miles from Boston. It's located in a friendly private lakeside community with 2 sandy beaches on Robinson Pond. The surrounding area is gorgeous with rolling hills and farms. We're within a half-hour drive from Great Barrington, MA., Hudson, NY, and Millerton, NY. and it's a very short drive to Taconic State Park. Enjoy our 4-season Copake Retreat!
