Cabin holiday rentals in Cooperstown

We went for a quick weekend getaway with our two dogs and absolutely loved William and Liz’s home, we didn’t want to leave!! I loved the privacy, how peaceful it was, and of course the views! Our dogs enjoyed all the free space to run as well. We unfortunately had a lot of rain when we stayed, causing our tour of howes cavern to be canceled due to flash flooding. We were rescheduled which affected our check out time, but they were so sweet and offered us to check out whenever we liked and even offered us an extra night to stay! (We wish we could have). It was a wonderful weekend getaway and we all can’t wait to go back! :)

We love staying at this peaceful and idyllic cabin. The property is very well maintained and true in character to its beautiful surroundings. We love the log fire, the hot tub and the beautiful garden full of wildlife. The area has plenty to do including great farmers markets, distillery with pizza truck and lots of walking and much more.

Very cute and convenient stay. We had everything we needed and more. We would recommend this place to anyone desiring to get away and enjoy the Catskills.

I had a wonderful weekend and would highly recommend staying here. My mother and I went up for some peace and relaxation and, even raining all weekend, we both immensely enjoyed ourselves. The cabin was beautiful! The screened in porch, skylights, and fire pit made the environment perfect. Chris was extremely responsive on any and all questions I had in regards to what I could expect when getting to the cabin and made sure that everything was laid out clearly for us on arrival so we had very little questions on checking in/out and expectations while there. You are attached to Moose Cabin, and sometimes we could tell people were in the area when someone laughed too hard, but even that close, we never really heard the people next to us and never once saw them though we were outside often. It was definitely affordable and worth the money considering I felt at home with all the personal effects but had a hotel level of cleanliness.

Such an awesome spot! BUT note this is a glampsite rather than a full house. The toilet is an outhouse (very clean, but make sure to duck to not hit your head), the shower is heated but it's outdoor, I didn't have soap or towels provided that I saw, and the bed is a tri-fold mattress that folds out onto the floor of the little A-frame. The wood fire hot tub was amazing, the fire pit is nice, there are two chairs included, parking is easy, there is good quality firewood here but bring something to light it with and start the burn. The sound of the running water is worth every penny. The cabin also is heated via some sort of gas, which does a great job and making the space feel cozy but I woke up with a pretty good sore throat. Not sure if that is a coincidence or if from the heater. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this place! Just make sure the less earthy people in your group are not expecting a hotel room/house.

If you’re looking for a cozy weekend away in the Catskills, this is the place!! Everything about Pamela and Alan’s cabin was absolutely perfect: the cleanliness, the amenities, their friendliness, the vast space, and bonus: the grill and hot tub. My partner and I loved every minute of our time spent at the cabin and truly made some great memories staying up here. I cannot recommend this place enough and thank Pamela and Alan for being incredible hosts!

The A-Frame on Pudding Hill was everything we were looking for — cozy, private, and super romantic. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations. The hot tub was a little tricky to turn on at first haha, but once it was going, it was perfect. Thank you, Lenny, for being such a thoughtful host. We felt truly cared for, and we’d love to return in the future. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dreamy getaway!

Rena was an amazing host we were running a bit late to check in due to car problems she was very caring and always responded quickly. Checking in and out was super easy. Her place is beautiful and peaceful. Even though it rained during our stay the place still looked amazing! The sounds of nature were soothing, and the views were breathtaking. At night the stars looked remarkable. My girlfriend and I will never forget The Roost. Thank you for having us rena. We really appreciated how understanding and responsive you were during our stay. I will recommend your place to my family and friends! 11/10 rating.

This was my first time at Kailey's place in Unadilla. I tried to book last year but the dates I needed were not available, so I was sure to book early this year. I stayed at this cabin to attend a SCWK trial in Otego, only 10-15 minutes away.... What a coy place Hilltop cabin is......a fenced deck off the bedroom is a plus and there is so much land to walk around and the pond is lovely....very quiet, although there are a few houses around but I never heard anything but nature! Kailey was an accommodating hostess, reaching out various times to make sure everything was acceptable and that I was able to unlock the lock box and get into the cabin.....The kitchen is very well equipped and the shower was delightful! I would definitely recommend this cabin to others with no hesitation. Thank you, Kailey, for such a memorable stay.....

Absolutely Amazing Cabin Retreat!** I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin, and it exceeded all my expectations. The location is incredibly private, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the welcoming vibe was evident from the moment I arrived. The fire pit was a fantastic touch—perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. The grill allowed for some delicious outdoor cooking, adding to the overall experience. The bedroom is stunning, with a charming design that made sleeping there a true pleasure. I also loved the wood style decor throughout the cabin; it added a warm, rustic charm that I found absolutely captivating. We will definitely be back soon! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and cozy getaway!

Jeff and Sharon were wonderful hosts and the airbnb exceeded our expectations. It was clean, nice, and had great amenities. The creek in the back was beautiful. Jeff and Sharon were also available and responsive the entire stay. We couldn’t speak highly enough of this airbnb.

When I decided in February to take three weeks away from my home city to spend time in the mountains, I wasn't sure I'd come a place that ticked all the boxes: would let me bring my dog, was on top of hiking by not terrifically far from essential businesses, was within a 4-5 hour drive from home, had the comforts I knew I needed and-- would also let me bring my cat? What did I find? This total gem of a cabin. My animals and I were able to make ourselves comfortable, the views of the lush trees were instantly calming, the bed was super comfortable, and somehow even though it felt like the middle of no where, was a 30 min drive from so many beautiful villages, trailheads, and other Catskills goodness. Mark was super on top of communications, helped me out when I needed it, and made sure I had what we needed. Highly recommend a stay here-- can't beat the charm and being truly surrounded by stunning nature.

This is a beautiful property to stay with my pups when I visit my family in Central NY. So thankful for the fenced in yard, and my niece and nephew love to visit to enjoy the pond and long walks around the grounds.

This was perfect. Atop a field in the middle of nowhere we had what seemed like the world to ourselves. With amazing views all around and fields to walk thru and explore, this was just what we needed to unplug. We will be back.

My boyfriend and our 2 pups enjoyed our time here! The place was mostly stocked with what we needed (no lighter for fire pit or coffee filters that we could find (but it rained and k-cups were provided), which neither are a big deal, but things we didn’t think to pack - so pack those if you’d need them!), it was clean, and we enjoyed the location for hiking / fishing and good food! We’d stay here again!

The Snowshoe Cabin is a peaceful, quiet upstate New York get away. Brian & Melissa are great hosts with easy directions & timely responses. The cabin itself is cozy and feels like home.

Beautiful place situated in the mountains! This house would be amazing for a honeymoon, anniversary or just to unplug from the world and spend quality time! It’s very private, clean, beautiful and the host is very responsive and clear with instructions. We will be back in the future! (Just adding to help the host and anyone coming for Cooperstown tournaments) the distance doesn’t seem like much but the speed you have to go through the terrain makes timing to get to the kids whom are staying at the bunk houses a lot! But if you are fine with that this is a wonderful place!

This was such an amazing place. Peaceful! The lake was amazing. You are renting from a rental company, so they have you sign a separate agreement and ask for another deposit that wasn’t in the description. Super clear instructions and easy peasy. They send you an App with instructions and all sorts of other information. I grew up in the area and was coming back to be with family. I felt right at home. Would absolutely love to stay here again, and for much longer! Don’t sleep on going down by the lake! Pretty good fishing. And fun swimming right from the dock.

This 100 year old cabin is perfect for a cozy and peaceful getaway. My wife and I had the best time and wish we could have stayed longer. We will certainly be coming back whenever we get the chance. Steve was also a perfect host as he was always available to answer any questions and was very helpful throughout our stay. 100% recommend!

Filip and Linn have curated a beautiful and well stocked cabin in the middle of the woods. We barely had to leave the property our entire stay there. There’s tons of activities and amenities to make the trip the best it can be. We fit 6 super comfortably in the cabin even during the rainy days. Definitely worth it!!

We visit Oneonta once or twice a year, often staying at a hotel. I am certain if we did that again, it would be a forgettable weekend. This place made our stay utterly unforgettable. A calm, peaceful cabin on a lovely piece of land on the mountain, just 10 minutes from town. We will never forget our stay at cabin #2 at My Friend's Place.

The stargazing cabin was everything we hoped for! Even though we had some rain, the cabin was relaxing and comfortable. Our first night we had an awesome fire and relaxed listening to some owls. During the day we visited the Howe Caverns and the Iroquois Museum. We visited local brewery, Serious Brewing Company and then had a great dinner at The Heartbreak Hotel. We returned to a rainy night in the cabin and woke up to make breakfast and coffee using the gas grill. The compost toilet and outdoor shower were easy and convenient and clean. The cabin is large enough to bring your belongings inside and still have room to move around. We did have to use the heat the 2nd night and it kept the cabin so comfortable. I highly recommend the Stargazing Cabin and Yona as a host!!

I enjoyed my few days at the Little Green Lake House. Very relaxing. Comfortable. Have to say I was really impressed with the way the house was updated and decorated. Finally caught a couple of fish off the dock once I switched to a smaller size bait. Using the house as my base, one day I visited the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown that is about an hour away and on another day I visited 3 covered bridges.
