A lovely cosy private cabin , near Strandhill , Coney Island , Knocknarea , Sligo Town and all the wonderful sites of Sligo...The cabin is fully fitted out ,it has a large comfortable pull out sofa bed, a very effective stove , and garden to sit in, parking , a bus route out side the door , however it only goes once an hour, and not at night , a car or bike would be a much easier option..The cabin is situated beside my cottage, so I will be on hand to help you settle in should you need

Idyllically located in the heart of Union Wood, 7miles from Sligo town this cosy self-contained cabin provides an ideal location to get away from it all, with fishing, hiking & mountain bike trails on your doorstep though action is never far away! This is an ideal stopover on your Wild Atlantic Way adventure or if you're attending a wedding in Markree Castle or Castle Dargan hotel. My parents, Brendan & Sheila will be on hand to show you around and give you a real Sligo welcome!

The cabin is located in a beautiful scenic and secluded area surrounded by trees and wildlife close to the Bricklieve mountains and the Carrowkeel megalithic tombs. Facilities include tea and coffee, a toaster and a mini fridge. Shower and toilet. There are many walking routes in the area and also fishing close by. It is approx. 20 mins drive from Sligo town and 2.5 hrs from Dublin. There is a pub which serves food approx. 2kms from the cabin. NO SMOKING

The Granary - with alpacas!

As the name suggests, this property is a converted granary which is located on our farm. Escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy a farm stay. We have sheep, horses, hens, a dog, a pig and two alpacas which can be seen on Quarryfield Farm Experience's social media pages. Less than 2km from the village of Bunninadden. 8km from Tubbercurry where the hit TV series Normal People was filmed!
