The Canal House

Our little getaway sits on a canal that leads into Lake Conroe. The marina at the lake offers jet skis and boats for rent. Our house comes with a canoe and a kayak. It also offers fishing in the canal. Very quiet, serene place with lots of beautiful birds. We particularly like to sit on the back porch and watch the egrets fly by or the ducks swimming in the canal. Perfect place for respite and recharge, or ramp it up and go jet skiing on the lake. Or both! This is a non-smoking home.

We provide off street parking, outside patio, hot tub and access to the grill. This casita is located across the patio from our primary residence. While you do have your own space you may bump into us outside feeding the chickens or letting our little Yorkie out to potty. You’ll access through the side gate.

A very nice and cozy spot. The host was very accommodating throughout which was greatly appreciated. Ample space and such a cute bathroom which stood out to me. I was in town for the night and the location was perfect distance to the event and the airport. I would definitely pick this place again when I’m back in the area.

Lilia is a great host would respond to my messages right away, house was amazing and comfortable, from check in to check out, had all the needed amenities. Neighborhood was also quiet. There’s a good park close from home for walks and biking. We had the storms causing a tree to fall near the driveway but within few hours Lilia sent someone to clean the driveway and also got rid of the remains of damaged tree. I really appreciate her timely response and help throughout the stay.
